Re: [M] Endless Nights - Daybreak

Ah, Phoenix killing Larry was just a mix-up, in my theory Edgeworth is the one on the left side of the building at the time, so naturally only he could kill Larry, and that's what I must have had in mind. As for keys: After Payne left the library, Phoenix is in wine cellar with wine cellar key, and...

Re: [M] Endless Nights - Daybreak

Alright, no disguises. Edgeworth is still the culprit with Phoenix as the accomplice. Edgeworth let Franziska out of the study, locked the door again and killed her in right bathroom after that, same as before. Then he goes into library and pretends to be unconscious for a while. Phoenix meantime b...

Re: [M] Endless Nights - Daybreak

I'll swap Phoenix and Edgeworth in my theory. Edgeworth is the culprit. Phoenix is the accomplice. Edgeworth lets Franziska out of the study, locks the door again, Franziska hides in right bathroom, Edgeworth makes her open the door and kills her. Edgeworth being knocked out by Larry never happened...

Re: [M] Endless Nights - Daybreak

Then I will make the following amendment to my theory: I already explained how wine cellar key ended up on Edgeworth - Phoenix placed it in his pocket while he was running towards right bathroom and Larry was in hallway, moving Edgeworth to library (or Phoenix passed it to Larry, who placed it onto...

Re: [M] Endless Nights - Daybreak

Spoiler : Correction :
Actually, Edgeworth had both keys with him at the time.
So he just opened the wine cellar door from inside of the study with the key. "Unlocking without a key" is redundant and doesn't need to be possible.
Which makes my theory simpler.

Re: [M] Endless Nights - Daybreak

Alright, I'm sticking with Phoenix being the culprit, Edgeworth being the accomplice. Franziska and Larry murders are as I described earlier (if Phoenix running in the hallways hypothesis isn't a problem, after all). After the murders - Phoenix waits in wine cellar with unconscious Payne. Klavier f...

Re: [M] Endless Nights - Daybreak

According to Alfred's testimony: I didn't notice anything else suspicious while I was guarding the central hallway. Can you confirm in red that Alfred continued to guard the central hallway (i.e. remained in the central hallway) for the entire time after discovering Franziska was gone from the stud...

Re: [M] Endless Nights - Daybreak

Phoenix is the culprit, Edgeworth is the accomplice. The theory remains mostly the same compared to my previous Phoenix/Edgeworth one. I'll copy this paragraph from it: Edgeworth's testimony, while accurate, contains several omissions. In the dining room, he let Franziska out and locked the door ag...

Re: [M] Endless Nights - Daybreak

I have been under impression that the "locked room" referred to the mystery of Franziska dissapearing from the study, not to the mystery of Payne appearing in the study. I assume it must refer to the second, and only the second? Because I never even thought about Payne's situation as the ...

Re: [M] Endless Nights - Daybreak

Regarding placing Payne in the study there was a red truth: By the way, the culprit placed your unconscious body in the study. You were wrapped in the blanket. As far as I'm concerned, nothing says that he was actually locked there, just that he was there. After both murders were completed, Phoenix...

Re: [M] Endless Nights - Daybreak

Next theory in case it's confirmed Larry can't be the accomplice period. Phoenix is the culprit, Edgeworth is the accomplice. Edgeworth's testimony, while accurate, contains several omissions. In the dining room, he let Franziska out and locked the door again (Franziska went to right bathroom as in...

Re: [M] Endless Nights - Daybreak

To clarify - the accomplice was defined as such: "The accomplice is a person who knowingly assists the culprit in the creation of the locked room." It doesn't actually state that "the accomplice" is related to murders, only to locking the room, so technically your red doesn't co...

Re: [M] Endless Nights - Daybreak

Another theory, which would be similar in many parts: Klavier is the culprit, Larry is the accomplice. Klavier did have opportunity to take the cellar key from Phoenix. Larry's actions are mostly the same, Klavier's actions in regards to killing Franziska are also the same as what Phoenix did in my...

Re: [M] Endless Nights - Daybreak

Now I hope I didn't forget the details of the case already. Phoenix Wright is the culprit. Larry is the accomplice. Phoenix had plenty of opportunity to knock out Klavier and barricade him, as no one else was in left side of the building. What Larry did is almost identical to my previous theory - h...

Re: [M] Endless Nights - Daybreak

Spoiler : :
But he is the culprit in my theory, and not an accomplice...
And his name is not confirmed to be Alfred, so I can make a claim that no red truth about Alfred actually apply to the butler character present in the game.
Unless you can confirm that in red.
