Re: Hurricane Irene thread
Ha ha, sorry, I didn't really see this topic until now and I noticed the latest posts. xD You be careful, too, I see your area's already had some bad damage inflicted. :( :( Someone merged the threads without telling me. -w-;; That would have been me. I saw there were two threads, so I merged them ...

Re: Hurricane Irene thread
Here is a news article of Irene as it makes people evacuate North Carolina. Let's just pray that Irene causes no further damage... at least not damage we won't regret.

Re: Hurricane Irene thread
Someone merged the threads without telling me. -w-;; I AM NOT AMUSED, AAO. Oh well. I have an update. For the most part, the worse part of the storms is over. However, we still have the floods to take care of- not to mention refugees. And Irene's now a category 3 cyclone heading to the US east coast...

Re: ...I misspoke. Irene's worse than I thought. :C
Wow, this sounds intense. Stay safe, Ryu! I hope everybody pulls through this OK. Thanks. We're tough with this sort of thing, we'll pull through it. (=3) And don't worry, I'll definitely NOT leave my house. XD It is but thankfully they're mostly of the type where roads fall apart. But they're stil...

It is but thankfully they're mostly of the type where roads fall apart. But they're still dangerous to all. :C I have a video about two posts above, if you want a look.

Re: ...I misspoke. Irene's worse than I thought. :C
Thanks everyone. I'm thankfully fine, thank God, and still have utilities like water and power (and yes, america, there's a crater. XD More on that below.) But in many places on the island, however, there's neither, and hundreds have been moved into refuges. In fact, here's a news clip (in Spanish s...

...I misspoke. Irene's worse than I thought. :C
Well, the storm may have left, but now we have leftover rains and winds and they are causing hell over here. It's so bad that the University of Puerto Rico (my alma mater <3) had to cancel classes and administrative labors until further notice, as well as other colleges. It's caused massive flash fl...

Re: Storm Irene: All my work postponed! :(
Doubleposting to let you know that I'm back online, more or less. Storm didn't cause major damages. Therefore, I've decided to lock this. Hodou, Wacky and America, thanks for the concern. And everyone else, judging from the pageview count.
Locked.

Re: Storm Irene
Thanks, everyone. My area's starting to receive the rain and some wind, but hopefully it's not gonna be a particularly bad one. I still remember hurricane Georges in 1996... *shudders* And the Net is now slow as hell. XD EDIT: Here's how the situation looks in my area. Of course, at the time of this...

Hurricane Irene thread
Edit August 24th: I have no idea who, but someone merged this original thread with the new one I made- without notification or private message at all. Didn't even bother to change the title. -_- Thanks a lot, Anonymous. Might as well use this one then. Report your situation, if any, here. Tropical ...
