Great. :D Thanks a lot for doing this. You've saved me loads of time.

There's still the issue of the images not being compressed enough, but we can sort that out using a tool like "PNGout".

But I don't understand why some of the evidence needed to be updated, since the evidence we currently have is better compressed. Was it the names that you were trying to update? Because the filenames are completely unrelated to the actual names.

EDIT: OK. I've compressed them. I managed to half the size of most of them.

The 'updated evidence' is higher quality, since it's the AJ/AAI version. Don't you want quality? :P

And yes, I think revamping the name of the evidence already there is a good idea... It was just easier to include my name for every single piece of evidence, and to put my name as the file name rather than in a text document and something (even if file name =/= editor name), and it was easier to do every piece of evidence so I didn't have to keep on checking the editor to see if it was there or not :P

Thanks BP, but the naming scheme has its importance. ;-)
If you change the filename of existing evidence, it'll break all old trials, obviously.

See the current files here : http://aceattorney.sparklin.org/Ressour ... s/dossier/
Keep the same name for existing evidence; as Meph said it'd also be good if we could keep a consistent naming for new evidence (French + camelCase), but that's not vital since theses filenames will not be displayed to the user once we get the translation files done.

But the names in the editor can be revamped, right?

No. I want choice. ;) I want people to be able to choose to use either the PW version, the AJ version or the AAI version. ;)

Yes. They're handled separately by a l10n file.

I might as well do that, Unas. ;) I think BP has done enough work for us, anyway; so much that you should buy him a holiday to Walt Disney World. :awesome: No? Oh. :(

Are we going to add this to AAO5 or 6? If it's v5, I can do the English l10n for you, if you want. :)

Then in that case, to answer your very first question, THAT'S why they're there and marked off separately :P

V5. I think there's no point in delaying it until V6 ;-)

This is Gumshoe's speaking animation in editor.

And another remark. These animations don't exist in editor

Note to self: add the Game Over door animation, as well.

I forgot to mention Alita Tiala, I think. Animation 6 is a bit higher than the rest of the sprites. Her breakdown is also not included. Animation 8 is missing speech and she is also missing another one set of sprites where she talks to the side with a snobby attitude.

Not her, too. :P I've added her to the list. I'll include her and Gumshoe with the phase 2 update.

Klavier's Zoom sprite doesn't work properly at all (animation 6) and MiaMay's normal sprite (10 i think) has the bottom line flashing in and out at times.

Yes he does, it's his last sprite, 22. It was missing before, but it was added a few months ago.
