As someone who's played the games... They aren't
Actually, it's possible they are--if the "investigation" camera angle and "witness stand" camera angle are different. But if that's the case, wouldn't that just further the whole "model" thing?
It's the same problem with using Slig's link, the sprites are fanmade and still not official.
But honestly? There are already fanmade sprites in the editor (See Bruce Goodman.) I can't see a problem with AAO using the sprites if Unas got the appropriate permission and gave proper credit to the artist.
...It was linked here before. I even animated the set, as seen in Canon Characters Custom Sprites thread. We just are not sure whether we should upload them in the editor.
Wow, how'd I miss that? Maybe if it actually was linked in a dark color or actually had at least one image in the comment would help for starters. I mean seriously? What the*Larry*kind of logic is using gray text on a gray background? Were you trying to make it difficult to see?
If that's what's in question then no for the animation, yes for the spite sheet.
No because they are not completed yet and though in their current state could be used, image wise some do need more work. Plus missing motions and whatnot would make the movement appear a bit off.
Yes (for the sprite sheets being posted up with credits) because they could be used as modified bodies for fans to make their OC's with, which in turn does help.
At current state, the best I can say is ask for permission, post the rough sheets (with credit) and wait until it's fully completed before you go and add the animations.

But, I would not count on all the sprites. The creator is likely to make just the main characters.
*squee* I heard about him making more on deviantART. I didn't know he made that many already! Since he already did Wright, it seems like he could do the others pretty easily.... Leeet me take that back. Not THAT easy, still. I'd love to see his finished sheet for Blackquill.

Per statements on Rajin's deviantart page, he has lost interest in the AA series, and it is doubtful that he will resume making DD sprites.
