[E][P] PLvsAA / AA Movie music

Post by JLavin »

Could we try putting in the music from Ace Attorney vs. Professor Layton? The game (as usual) has an ethereal soundtrack. I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants this in their game.

[EDIT] And while we're at it, what about the movie soundtrack?

I definitely support this idea! The soundtrack is really nice; just a shame that most of them are mere remixes of music from earlier games.

What we do need to keep in mind, though, is that Layton vs AA is published by Level-5, not by Capcom, so they might have most legal rights to the game. So far, Capcom has seemed tolerant enough not to send lawsuits after their fan community for their massive breach of copyright. However, now that we're dealing with Level-5 instead, we cannot be entirely sure that they share Capcom's views in this sense. Of course, I still say we should just add them and hope for the best. ;-)

I'm fairly certain it's not added right now because of spoiler rules. In addition, since the game is getting localised, Unas probably will wait until the game is released before uploading said tracks.

There are not that many spoilers in it. As mentioned, most of it is remixes :-P . And anyway, is it not usually up to the trial authors to tell whether they are doing spoilers in cases? (True, I can't memorise all the paragraphs of AAO. :-P)

They can, but Unas doesn't upload the tracks onto the editor itself until post-spoilers period.

The movie music doesn't really loop since it's, you know, movie music

Actually, he does. He's always uploaded spoiler material without question.

Really? I always thought he waited for the spoiler period to end. Oh well.

A lot of our music here on AAO doesn't really loop :P Or, doesn't loop like it should, anyway. Being exactly the reason I'm going to use custom music option even using Ace Attorney music. Or because of the quality...

Oh, thanks. I worked hard getting those tracks to loop :P And lowering the quality to get them to load quickly.

That's true. :P I guess the fact that I'm tone deaf doesn't really help me trying to get the loop perfect. But I tried. :XD: As always, if anyone can make a better loop, that's fine. Unas will be willing to upload it.

And that's why, you don't use AAO's version of all the soundtracks ;P
Either way, we'll never have perfect loops because of the stupid .mp3 format.
