[E, P] (Court Bug) Characters Bug v5-Converted Positions
When I use the Apollo Justice courtroom backgrounds, they look really messed up for some reason.
(EDIT 8/8/2016) Sorry, the image doesn't work. :/
It doesn't even matter if I use left-aligned, centered, or right-aligned sometimes, it just looks really messed up. Idk why.
Does anyone know how to fix this, or will it become fixed, or am I doing something wrong?
Enthalpy Edit: Summary of known facts here.

Re: AJ Courtroom messed up?
I can't reproduce this one. I'm assuming this is "bun load" frame ID 11?
Check if this still happens. What computer and browser are you using?

That shouldn't cause a problem...

[E] Court Backgrounds glitching out.
So, I recently began working on a trial. I started to playtest it from the beginning to see how it flowed together at this point, when I noticed a problem. The courtroom benches background is showing the full courtroom instead of the section of the courtroom I want it to. It's kind of hard to explain, but you'll know it when you see it.
I'm using Google Chrome in Windows 7.
Does anyone know what the problem is here? This hasn't happened before.

Your case doesn't even include a courtroom background, and my attempts to reproduce this on Chrome and my own Windows failed. Please give a trial that actually has this bug.

Re: AJ Courtroom messed up?
I saw this exact bug when I was playing an old v5 trial that had been converted into v6. I believe it was ED's ASA.

Re: AJ Courtroom messed up?
Was there any place in particular where this appeared, or simply anytime the courtroom was used?
Did you also use Windows 7 and Chrome?

Was it? I'm going to check, but then it's likely a conversion bug.drvonkitty wrote:I saw this exact bug when I was playing an old v5 trial that had been converted into v6. I believe it was ED's ASA.

Re: [E] Court Backgrounds glitching out.
I finally reproduced this one:
This bug occurs in any v5 trial with a character on any courtroom background, and the trial is played in Chrome. This bug, rather than displaying a set position, displays the entire image scaled to fill the player. The bug is OS-agnostic and does not appear on Firefox.
Changing the character's visual_effect_appears attribute from 0 to 1, as it is in v6-native code, resolves the issue.
I'm not sure why this is happening, but it is a confirmed bug now.

Re: [E, P] (Court Bug) Characters Bug v5-Converted Position
I don't think it's a conversion bug. My trial has this problem, and I made it only with v6. I can't get a screenshot right now, but I'll put one up.

Re: [E, P] (Court Bug) Characters Bug v5-Converted Position
After some additional testing, this occurs regardless of the value of visual_effect_appears or v5-conversion. This seems to happen anytime a character is displayed in a courtroom, and the trial is played in Chrome.
Why the bug has changed, I'm not sure.

Yeah, that has nothing to do with conversion (and visual_effect_appears should have pretty much no effect now, it's not implemented yet).
This is a rendering issue in Chrome, and a weird one at that... I guess I'll have to check this. Probably Chrome being stupid and reporting the wrong dimensions when my script loads the image...
