[T] Age of Turnabouts ☆

Post by Arivenzys »

Thanks to Silver for the artwork.

Hello everyone, I come straight from the French section to offer you this (soooo overdue) translation of one of my cases. In fact, I started the translation almost two years ago... And it's finished now (with some corrections planned) !
The original case was created during the case contest "The Bright Age of the Law", and was accepted in the featured cases. I hope you'll like it too!

As I took a long time to work on this, I made most of the part 2 by myself without the translators. As English is not my native language, it's possible that there's some errors. Do not hesitate to point them to me, and also if I forgot something on this presentation topic, so I can correct it. Thank you!

About the story : The case is supposed to happen after the events of Dual Destinies, and Wright is actually alone at the agency. He still wants to rebuild the trust in the law, following the Dark Age, but he suddenly receives a request from Edgeworth, which will implicate him in two distinct cases, althrough somehow linked.

Quick question, if you don't mind. Is this the only case you're translating, or is Opera and Turnabout coming as well? I tried it with my limited French and couldn't truly appreciate it :P

(sorry about double post)

Well, I'm wondering if I'll do it, given the switch of motivation I experienced those past years. I'd like to finish the episode 2 of that serie in french as well, so I'm not really sure for now ^^
Thanks for playing it by the way :)

Really ? That's strange, the link works fine for me, and I double checked... The plan is big and need scrollers, but it does not appear to be broken.
Can you describe me exactly what happens?

When I tried to have it show the image, all I got was an icon of a torn page. Strangely enough, when I started part 2, I did get the map however. There's some problem with the image in Part 1 that wasn't in Part 2.

Yes, that's odd, it's the exact same link in both parts.
Maybe it was a bug... But if it works in Part 2, that's the most important. Thanks for signaling me the issue anyway :)

Hello everyone, the fourth part is now complete!
However, I modified it a little from the original, so despite my checking, there may be some slight errors. Do not hesitate to point them to me.
Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy!

Very nice! I'm hoping to play through the case soon.

I played through Part 1 but am confused at one point on Part 2.
Spoiler : :
In Mr. Holgerson's first testimony, why doesn't he say he heard the body fall? I imagine that the sound of a body hitting the ground after falling five stories would be hard to miss.
Once this is cleared up, I'll get back to playing.

Spoiler : :
Well, that's actually a good point. I didn't thought about that at all, but I'll add it.
However, the contradiction has nothing to do with the body hitting the ground.
