Judgement Seekers
A title with a deep hidden meaning. (or at least I want the players to think that.)
Plot:
After the trial of Vera Misham, Apollo begins to think about the meaning of being a lawyer. However, life continues, and since this is AA, crazy cases keep happening, and he gets dragged into a complex net of mysteries and conspiracies that have more to do with him than he might have imagined. Can he find the answers he searches for during those trials, or will he go down? One thing is certain, he doesn't fight alone!
(New) Characters:
Apollo will meet new friends and foes during this journey, and you might even play as someone else in some cases! You should already be familiar with Apollo, Trucy and Phoenix. So let's look at some of the other people you will meet.
Spoiler : Lira Vainheim :
A seemingly rich girl which sees herself as a private detective.
She is a little arrogant and tends to look down on people below her level.
While her reasoning ability is outstanding, she acquired most of her knowledge through books and sometimes tries to apply concepts of fiction to reality, which can cause her to get easily distracted by some minor detail which isn't important at all.
Likes: Tea
Dislikes: Someone not agreeing with her theories.

Spoiler : Vera Night :
A rookie defense attorney who hasn't lost one case till now, which puts her at 5 wins and 0 losses. She became an attorney because she loves riddles and intellectual debates. Pretty skilled in making the opponents argument look completely riduclous as long as there is no decisive proof for it. Seeing how there is now a jurist system, that's a rather efficient method to get her "not guilty". Seeing how this ability is most efficient when the case is still all vague, she actually managed to win one case during the very first cross-examination.
She also belives in fate, and is a fortune-teller herself.
She loves to randomly draw a tarot card to look into the future, even though that's not how you're supposed to use them.
Likes: Riddles, math problems
Dislikes: Incompetency, Abuse of the weak

Spoiler : v.K. :
As a chief prosecutor in Germany, von Karma has gained even more authority than she previously possessed.
She claims to have found an answer as to what a perfect prosecutor is, and her win ratio is over 99%.
Likes: Herself, her whip
Dislikes: Fools

Spoiler : JP??? :
Not much is known about this secret organisation, the following is the information that has been colected by a certain person.
Raven - One of the members of JP. For unknown reasons, this person always commits crimes in a way that makes them next to impossible to solve them. You won't ask "Who did it?". You'll ask: "How is this crime even possible?"
Vampire - Seems to actually think of herself as a vampire. Her crimes tend to be committed in a unnecessary brutal way. You could say that Raven tries to attack the mind, and this person tries to attack the heart.
I managed to get some names/codenames of other members, but the information about them still needs to be confirmed.

1.) The Virtual Turnabout
Spoiler : Plot intro :
Phoenix seems to have prepared some kind of virtual deduction game. And he challenges Apollo to solve it! Will he be able to find the truth behind the case, which does involve elements that wouldn't be possible in a normal case?

Spoiler : 4th part walkthrough :
Hey, part 3 is harder in my opinion! Well, there are some mean ones in this one as well.
-1st Testimony: Last statement -> Present vase shards to remind her of her sin!!!
-2nd Testimony: Press 3rd statement, ask about the vase -> Press 4th statement, location of the shards. No penalties, easy.
-Raise objection or see what happens, makes no difference.
-Why could it have happened the way the witness described it? -> Present the shards again.
-Choose "To hide her fingerprints" Though in reality, the other option is true as well, but it doesn't help your case.
-The thing one naturally wouldn't want to bear one's finerprints? Hmmmm, THE GUN, PERHAPS?
ok this is where the nightmare begins. Weakhearted people quit now!
3rd Testimony: This is a minefield, proceed with caution. Press the 2nd statement and demand an answer. It will seem like you'll get owned but she adds something instead. The added statement is at the very end of her testimony. Present the crumpled paper. This one's mean since it was never said that it's the combination, but I think it was still obvious enough.
*Godot showndown*
-choose "There's a very easy way" , unless you're one of those who fail on purpose.
-How do we check who's lying? How 'bout testing it on the safe? (the defendant's, not the hidden one!)
-choose "I don't agree", there's no penalty for despairing, though
-Unlimited Penalty#1: Present Mr. Doe's profile. Note: There's a sad ending if you screw up here.
*A wild Phoenix has appeared*
-The autopsy report contradicts with your theory, but no matter what you choose Phoenix will explain it anyway.
-choose "He didn't have a key". Sometimes you have to be reasonable...
-choose "Mr. Doe unlocked it" , this one should be easy. One choice can't really be and the other is completely ridculous...
-choose "It's impossible" Stay on the ground, man! Impossible things stay impossible!
-choose "It was not locked" I love how the player does always have to pick the negative choice...
-Present: the chair! It was in the room, it wasn't paid attention to till now. In fact,
it was the only thing never mentioned again after discovery, just how clear can a hint be?
-choose: "he didn't get out" I like the liquid option, though. Maybe the culprit was a snowman? Window can't be, if
the window was open that would have been mentioned somewhere, wouldn't ya agree?
Unlimited Penalty#2: The final line of defense, the second examination of the door. Present Walter's profile.
Second check has to make sense, how can it make sense if someone else was the criminal?
Note: Failing on this one will also lead to the sad ending.
Do you really want Apollo to go emo that much?
Final Testimony: For a final testimony, it's not that hard. Press third statement -> Present bloody footprints
on the added statement.
*Oh no Phoenix won't go down THAT easily*
-Present the sandals! Phoenix will screw a bit with you.
-Present....the vase shards! Oh, I really love how some vase shards are used three times and are the final piece of evidence!
Watch how the criminal gets owned with logic and just gives up without manic laughter. What did you expect? Not all the villains go down dramatically!
*Epilogue*
-Watch the credits

Then the paths merge back together.

Spoiler : Part 2 Walktrough :
Greetings, traveller.
So I see you're having troubles to perceive the truth. That's why you're here.
What a pity, but worry not! Help is near, given by me! The fabulous, wise, trustworthy overseer of this world: Rune!
1st Testimony (Ema):
-Press the second statement to reveal the glorious autopsy report.
-Press the third statement. You have a problem with the dying message! Shove that autopsy report into the prosecution's face to proceed!
-A question will arise. Of course you have a problem! There's always a problem!
-Next up is a CCE. No m,atter what you do, it's possible to proceed. I'll let you figure out the right response yourself.
2nd testimony (Mik Hikimori's 1st)
-Curses! A malicious otaku has left his lair to threaten your case! And his testimony seems solid!
First of all, press the third statement. After that, press the new third statement. Ask him why he looked out.
He says the gunshot was the reason. But wait! Right in his very next statement, he mentions that he heard a gunshot AFTER that! That'd make 2 gunshots, make him aware of his critical failure by presenting his own testimony to the 4th statement. (or the "translated" version of it. Doing it on the non-translated one will lead to slightly different dialogue. xD)
3rd testimony (Mik Hikimory's 2nd)
-How stubborn. This one seems contradiction free. Present the autopsy report on the 4th statement and see for yourself.
And with that, the first court phase of this case is ove- OMGWTFBBQ!?
4th testimony (Naota Feykneme's 1st)
A troublesome shady foe has appeared. This one's really tricky.
-Press the first statement. Ask him about the pictures he draws.
-Press the 4th statement. Ask him whether he followed the defendant into the house.
-Press the 7th (final) statement. Ask him about this testimony.
-Press the 3rd statement. Ask whether the defendant was carrying something else at that time. You have a problem now! Present the suicide note there!!!
5th testimony (Naota's 2nd)
-Present the barricaded door on the very first statement. Like a boss.
-He's tough and has another excuse. Present the suicide note to deny it!
6th testimony (Naota's 3rd)
-Oh come on! Okay, present the barricaded door on the 7th statement to logic stomp him yet again.
-Geez, another excuse. Now present the threatening letter or the dying message on the new statement. (about him leaving while the defendant was busy in the room.)
-Your cavalry charge has been denied yet again. Could there be a problem with this new piece of evidence? of course there is! Choose yes, there's always a problem!
-Ignore all that complicated stuff about the events. Just say you have a problem with no event in particular and present the victim's profile.
-Even that wasn't enough!? Fine, those two events seem to contradict each other. But, just as always, both are co- Wait... why would both be correct? Don't just assume things like that! The recording is obviously flawless so the only thing that could have been manipulated is the meeting!
-What the-!? Even that manly logic wasn't enough to finally take him down? Fine, the murderer tried to hide the time of the murder. "B-But the autopsy rep-" No. Real men don't give a damn about some silly autopsy report! The barricaded door will explain it all!
