Hey Jean I am loving the Omniscient Game. Each round has been fantastic. I'm stuck on the one part where you have to figure out where George Washington lied... do you think you can give me a hint?
I loved the part when they went into Gumshoe's daydream. "Feels like we're on the Magic Schoolbus..." I laughed pretty hard at that part.
I also like your use of DKC music. That made me smile.

Glad you are enjoying it so much! It's great to still have people finding this, even a few years later.
As for the part you're stuck at...
Spoiler : :
Do all GW's numbers match what you learned in the daydream? You can check the evidence for a summary of what you learned...
Let me know if you're still stuck.

Good job recognizing the DKC2 music as well. A lot of people had to ask me where it was from.

Speaking if which... Is the topic title accurate for progress?

Yeah, I'm glad I'm alive too. :)

Yes and no. See, ever since I was hired to work on Indie games, my game-making time has been completely eaten up. So although the Final Round is 56% finished if you include Payne's part, Phoenix's part is actually pretty far along, but not so much that I can release it.

I've been thinking of taking 2 days off and just working on the Final Round and then releasing it, but I'll have to decide when a good time to do that would be.

Ah, I see. Good to see that you haven't been swallowed by the abyss that is work, though. xD

EDIT: Also, I know this isn't the thread to do it... But can I try out that text2case program you have?

You can try out passing text to it to see that it does in fact generate scripts, but you won't be able to actually upload the script without sharing it with me since that requires a lot more work. Please send me a PM about it.

DKC2 is my all-time favourite 2D platform game; everyone should give it a shot.

I have it on the GBA, and it's got to be one of my most favorite games ever. Probably the best final boss fight for a 2D game too.
However my favorite 2D game ever is Super Mario World, with DKC Returns closely behind.

Wow, this is gonna be a goooood "trial" I can feel it! ^_^ Jeez, this round must be being worked on for, like, a year or something, right? Ooooooh, I can't wait until it's done...no rush.

This is an absolutely brilliant set of cases, and I encourage everyone to play it.

So I just started, as Ferdielance recommended, and already I'm at odds with the questions!
Spoiler : :
You're telling me they extracted maple syrup from maple trees on their school trips? It seems rather unlikely, considering people generally extract maple sap! Well, maybe I just misread it.
Anyway, this seems really cool so far, so I'll keep going at it!

You're still doing TOG? I've been stuck at round 6 for so long I thought it was already finished!

It's mostly there, but there's still work to do, and little time to do it. I really want to finish it, but I'd have to find some time when there's nothing else going on, and that doesn't happen much anymore. Sorry for leaving everyone hanging like that!

I may have to just cut some stuff out to make finishing it possible. I had some custom animations in mind, but those take me forever to do.

If anyone else is interested in giving it a go, and has some sample work to show that they can handle it, that'd be worth a private message to me. ;)

Sorry about the trouble with saving; that's always been an issue. I think I'm going to make the final round in such a way that you don't need to worry about your saves working correctly to make it possible to win for this exact reason.
