I do. Was rather hoping something miraculous would happen in order to avoid having to say this, but unfortunately, that did not happen. My computer has crashed. Completely. (Using my phone for Internet currently.)

If I believed in fate, I would simply think I'm not meant to finish this case. But I don't. So one day. But for the foreseeable future, I have no way to continue working on it. Afraid it's been delayed indefinitely again.

Additionally -- to anybody who I said I would beta for the comp, I'm sorry to say I'll be unable to. I'm especially sorry to Burr, because I had a massive report for him that was incomplete and with the crashing of my computer is now lost forever.

I told myself I'd end up regretting, and boy did I. Sorry, everyone.

TBH, due to the nature of the case itself [see: beginning phase2] I couldn't really play it due to utter shock at what had happened... but after a decent month-or-so cooling off period I came back... So worth it. Phase3 is, simply put, the most ridiculous of ridiculous series of contradictions thrown into a single-

ridiculously boss OC... Hazama/YuukiTerumi got a run for his money in terms of ridiculously boss logic opponent-ness [and yes, he is so awesome that he gets his own words]

-case that just keeps piling up one thing after the other, and the climax... splendid. Whether it ends the way we all expect it to after phase3 made it out to or not, I don't know- but one thing is for certain, I've enjoyed it's trollish nature thus far- I doubt I can be disappointed with phase4.

Speaking of phase4, this is the part where I would eagerly ask about it... except that I read the above post work of this caliber deserves all the time it needs- If it comes out three years from now I'd probably play it, no rush, and best of luck!

Thanks for the review, Mathias_Trueman! Really glad that you have enjoyed this case. Reactions like yours are exactly why we write these games.

For some reason, I hoped that line would catch on

And yeah, we needed Peppers to be a "big boss" in the common vg sense of the term. I'd always wanted to write a character like that - the sort of classic villain you enjoy doing battle with because he's always testing you. AA is perfect for these sorts of confrontations, but Gumpei brought the best out of this concept.

Part 4 was always my favourite on paper, but it was intended to be released close to or at the same time as part 3, so I have no idea how people will respond when it eventually gets released. Sometimes the wait gives players completely new expectations as opposed to expectations that logically follow from the previous parts, making them difficult to meet. Still, I'm very happy with what we have planned. I guess we'll see...
