You said: "Psyche-lock on Andrews happened off screen? Any reason why we didn't get to see that?"

It's because the facts of the case are always told in court and I didn't want to be repetitive. That and all Case 1's in canon take place entirely in court. It's not like you didn't get to see any Psyche-Locks, right?

You said: "People change Maya, it's called "life experience", don't be so naive."

Except Pearl barely changed at all while Maya was there and suddenly she's completely different shortly after she left.

You said: "The timed frames on the Objections and Hold Its are a bit long, 100 is the normal setting isn't it?"

I always thought 200 was the correct timing. It's closer to the length in canon.

You said: "Have a bug here, when I choose the second page to examine of the guide it shows the first page."

Thanks for catching that. I'll edit the case accordingly.

You said: "Found a Team Fortress 2 Engineer quote. Spoken by Payne of all people. And after that the Scout."

And after that the Spy.

You said: "Would you like a numbered score?"

Sure, why not? :)

The proper wait time for Objection is 150. Just popping in to say that.

First of all let me apologise, as when I said I was going to leave a numbered score, if you wanted it, I completely forgot to give one when you replied.

Ok here it is:
Spoiler : :
I dislike leaving a single numbered score so I'll break it down into segments. This is my honest opinion.
Characters: 6/10 They were fine, that's all I could think of.
Story/Idea: 7/10 I always like a fresh idea, and you've made a good start on this one.
This Case: 6.8/10 I realise it's a "start up Winston Payne case" to set the atmosphere and that's fine, you've done a fine job.

In conclusion: I consider this an above average start to a series. Now that the beginning is out of the way, you can move onto the "meat of the matter". Good job, keep it up.
Status: Tired and out of it.

Bullet Tooth Tony: "Boris the Blade?
Solomon: "Yeah."
Bullet Tooth Tony: "As in Boris the Question Dodger?"
Solomon: *nods head*
Cousin Avi: "Why do they call him the Question Dodger?"
*pause*
Bullet Tooth Tony: "Because he dodges questions, Avi."

Oh, thanks. Weird, I've been using 200 all this time and no one complained before now.

Well, glad you liked it! The next case is significantly more interesting, though.

You may want to fix the last Press on
Spoiler : :
Pearl's first(?) testimony.
If I press, the trial instantly ends and loops back to the beginning.

This brings me to a point: do I actually HAVE to press all statements?

This series must have investigation stage for Case 2 to Case 4.

Thanks for catching that. I fixed it. This didn't happen if you press all the statements beforehand, so that's probably how I missed it.

And as for your question...
Spoiler : :
Actually, technically you don't have to press everything. But you get no press penalties, and you receive some backstory by pressing some of the non-relevant statements. Either way, you technically only have to press statements 1 and 4 (in any order), and then 9, but I also recommend pressing statement 7 (about calling the ambulance).

Believe me, I know. Cases 2 through 4 will all consist of 2 investigation sequences and 2 trial sequences. Case 1 just didn't because...well...it's Case 1.

Correct me if I'm wrong but:
Spoiler : :
Is the crime scene background in Case 2 Part 1 of the Brandenburg Gate? I swear I can see the Brandenburg in the distance.

EDIT: Sorry, I missed the walkthrough under the link, extremely tired.

Well, I'm not sure. I just searched Google Images for "empty street" and that was the best one I got.

For all I know it very well could be. :)

Part 1 was really short so I can't really give any thoughts. Can I ask how long before Part 2 is ready?

It's probably going to be a while because of sprite issues. (The witness isn't done yet.) But hopefully it doesn't take that long. :)

BTW, I don't think the feedback will be as important until the case is over. Unless you find a bug, of course, but yeah.
