Ding fidgeted in his seat.

"C'mon, people! Are we going with this or not?!"

Then he quietly sat down.

<Yup. Just give me a bit to get all my things in order, and hear something from s0L0, 'cause I forgot a lot of this stuff. =P>

EDIT: Whoops, forgot the smaller size for OOC. Out of it, as you can see.

*pounds gavel*

I apologize for the... very long recess. Court will reconvene as soon as my assistant and I get our papers sorted.

Force pounded his gavel into the desk repeatedly.

"The court is back in session. I have reorganized my notes and now believe that this case must be brought back into the spotlight. I'd like to pose a couple questions to the detective that will hopefully clear up this argument: How exactly did you determine that the murder weapon was a vinyl record? And did you find a knife at all? Even if it didn't seem to be part of the murder scene? Perhaps you could make a call to your aide and see if he's found anything?"

"Like the earlier witness stated many times, the investigation isn't even complete. I find the fact that this sham of a trial has lasted this long without a 'Not Guilty' verdict, let alone the fact that this trial has even existed." Geno states once more, knowing that if nothing else, he could buy some time via investigation.

"Um..." Ding stammered, stepping in. "I just called my assistant right now....Indeed there was a knife...It was locked in the victim's desk, but we just assumed it didn't have anything to do with the murder.." He looked sheepishly at the floor.

<Seriously Force. >_> Get your Stenographers to work! xD>

This is weird. The prosecution is arguing that a knife, which would make much more sense to use than a vinyl case, does not exist, while the defense is arguing that it does.

And the investigation team found a knife in the victim's desk? Locked as well? How did it end up there?

Jibber looked to the side, extending his finder at the defence team.

"It matters not. If it was locked in the desk, it could not have been used. Further forensic tests can confirm this."
