I don't really care about Layton to be honest, and as for T&T, that was an unusual circumstance. AJ is the only one out of the four AA games that's unique. It hasn't been ported. Therefore, they made it in the same way they made AAI:ME if you know what I mean...

I'm still in the first case and probably half way done, but here's what I know so far, without any knowledge of Japanese:

Sorry if it's old news, but I never researched the game before it came out, so yeah.

- No English option, which I pretty much expected.

- Even though the game is missing courtroom trials, testimonies and cross examinations are still in the game. Despite being a prosecutor, you play the role of defense by cross examining the suspect. If you don't know Japanese, it's best to press on every statement just to see if you can get an additional piece of testimony added. Edgeworth will also kind of hint at where you should present your evidence by thinking, which usually includes a red word (This worked for me the first time, and I got it on my first try too ).

- Logic system is very, very simple. It has its own evidence that's separate from the court record, and you choose two of them to form your idea. However, messing up will cost you a bit of your health. Even without Japanese knowledge, making logical comparison by looking at the pictures will still help you a great deal.
