Avatar Movie!

Post by Zeroes »

So I forgot to mention, but when I saw Transformers 2 there was a preview for an Avatar: The Last Airbender movie.

I would watch it. =D

The live action one, right? I'm not sure if I'm into the idea... I preferred it as an animation, but then, I'm a huge "Americans can make anime too" geek, so...

Yeah, most likely it's not going to be good, but who cares? It's Avatar! =D

The words "live action" make me wary.

I swear, if I see the words "Michael Bay" anywhere near that title, I'm gonna go ahead and skip it.

But I may or may not see it...I have to see the ENTIRE show first. XD I stopped watching it religiously when there was this slow patch, so I've grown quite behind in the series.

You should watch it. It's worth it just for the ending. The ending had to have the most explosive and intense scenes ever.

I plan to, if I ever have the means to do so. I liked avatar due to its somewhat cohesive storyline, and the fact that everything wasn't "lolaangwins". The fight scenes are also quite well choreographed, and have a lot of thought put into them.

Zuko's Uncle FTW.

You are such a fanboy, s0L0. xD

Personally, I thought the ending sucked. <_<

Stood up to the man, and gave him what for
Our love for him now, ain't hard to explain

Spoiler : :
The deus ex machina ability to bend the ability to bend out of someone (wtf) was a stupid way to end the conflict that was probably forced by Nickelodeon because they were too kiddy to permit anyone to die in their show. Losers. >_>
Also, too much CGI.

I've only seen a few episodes of this when it first came out. Never really followed it though, since my dad cut off cable a few months before we moved here and hasn't had it reinstalled yet :( . Though I don't really watch TV anymore, I don't know why I didn't bother looking for this online somewhere.

Yeah, the way they end the conflict sucked. A lot.
But the CGI was fantastic!

And lol, Phantom. The only show I watch is NCIS. (I love NCIS.) But you should watch Avatar.
