The London 2012 Olympics Logo

Er... Does everyone remember when the London 2012 Olympics logo was first unveiled and how it caused so much controversy? Does anyone also remember how they said it was designed "to appeal to future fashions rather than today's?"

I've got to admit... I don't know whether the design has grown on me or it actually has become relevant to today's fashions, but... I'm actually starting to like it.

What do you all think? Is it now looking rather good, or is it still an embarrassment to the country that I live in?

I can sort-of see the... "job that involves blowing"... in the logo, but I can't see how it looks anything like Lisa! You'd have to have a really abstract mind.

If Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was enough of a jerk to criticize the logo because Ahmadinejad is anti-Semitic... Shut the f*ck up. Nobody cares, you little powerless pawn! In fact probably the Olympics would be better without Iran ruining things or Russia being a crybaby about it... *coughPutincough* That's plain stupid.

But I don't like the logo... But I do like Ceres' take on it.

There comes a point in art where Modern = Laziness. This comes close to it and that's why I don't like it. Trust a guy's opinion on "modern" art when he's seen too many of them on the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art.
