Exams and Coursework
It's exam season again, in the northern hemisphere!* What exams do you have?
*Or at least, it's the main one. This isn't including the November and January exams.

Re: Exams and Coursework
I've already completed English 52, Dance 100 & Math 80 Final Exams, they weren't so hard.
It's just... The last exam. ACK!
Psychology 101's Final Exam is next, and I have a 76% in the class right now.
Wish me luck! It's in 3 hours, and I must study as hard as I can until it's time to take it.

Think that's why so many relationships fail, because people wind up forcing themselves to find good in the other person, play up who they are to appear more attractive to them... but well... real love is being yourself, with someone who cares about you and accepts you for who you are.

Re: Exams and Coursework
I've got most of my A-Level AS exams to do this exam season. I've just done Environmental Science Unit 1 and Unit 2, and I think both went really well!
Next I've got Physics Unit 1, then Computing Unit 1. After that, I've got Physics Unit 2 and English Language Unit 1 at the same time. Finally, I've got Computing Unit 2.

I've got no idea what those numbers mean, but good luck.TKHawaiianAZN wrote:I've already completed English 52, Dance 100 & Math 80 Final Exams, they weren't so hard.

Re: Exams and Coursework
I'm not in high school, so we have state standardized tests. (Come to think of it, we have them in HS too...)
Anyway, we did ours before Easter as well.

Exams? I only have to do my main ones in November (end of Australian school year since we start in Feb), but I have the GAT (General Achievement Test) next month.

I've already finished my Senior year final tests, so I'm just waiting to graduate, now.

Re: Exams and Coursework
Finals are in, I believe, three weeks. They'll be easy, though- they always are. My history final and the AP European History test are over with- those were brutally long but not extremely difficult. State testing was a joke, as always.
Though the most ridiculous test I've ever had was earlier this year: the California High School Exit Exam. That thing was the most obscenely easy test I've taken in my life and was administered to freaking tenth graders. It was an absolute joke and it took almost a week. For questions that took a total of maybe an hour if we'd done it all at once. The math is around 5th grade level, and the English section is very basic English.
And if that weren't pathetic enough, to pass you must get a total of... wait for it... 50% on each section. Yes. You can pass with an F.
I got a perfect score on both, but that's not saying much.

Next up is Programing Languages and Database systems. We have quite the strict teacher when it comes to the programming languages, so we have to be careful with the terminology.

I just did my final English exam (Higher). Poetry went well, not sure about Of Mice and Men. Only managed to write a page due to a mental block. Still it was loaded with quotes and explanations so...

Now you can burn your Anthology! Burn it! Burn it! Burn-- oh, wait. You've got a second exam that uses it. Never mind.ShadowEdgeworth wrote:I just did my final English exam (Higher). As for Mice and Men, you're not another school that teaches that book, are you? We did Lord of the Flies. I hate that book, now... But don't worry about the novel section; it's the poetry that gives you most of the marks. Plus, it's on quality, not quantity. If you've shown that you've got a good understanding of the themes in the book, you should be fine.
