Oh, believe me, one time, one of the teachers said the tests' scoring system is garbage.

EX:

Test at school: 85/100=B or Above Expectations, yadda yadda.

Test by district or some outside source that requires you to take it: 40/100=B Above Average.
 WHAT KIND OF GRADING IS THAT?? And no, I'm not asking for harder stuff, but I'm just saying... you think we're THAT dumb? Oh, please.

Another thing that's really mean is that AFTER the huge "final" they give us, they often give ANOTHER ONE. :sideglance2: Oh, please. What's the point? You're just throwing your money away.

Especially if the school year has like two more weeks? I don't even get to know my scores anyway.

Americans getting 100%?! There's no way we are getting that as a test average. There are kids that do get 100% on each test they get though.

As I say, it must be because the exams are too easy. In harder tests, no matter how clever you are, it's unlikely to get 100%. :)

I just finished my Short Story Workshop 2 class. My last story apparently... wowed the class. No joke. And no, I'm not saying that to look cool. :awesome: I'm telling you the story exactly as it happened. We had to write a vignette (think a story that's like a photo or picture) about one of the Seven Deadly Sins, and I chose Wrath at random. ...No, that's not actually how it happened. (lol ron delite)

I forgot about that detail and I just wrote the story. I later read it and noticed the Wrath detail. The teach said I had advanced tremendously in this trimester since the first story and was now in a whole new league. :awesome: I'll see about translating it soon for you guys. Still engaged in a grammar workshop. UTTERLY ANNOYING. :l

Without giving away too much, a father went to Chechnya on a pilgrimage to God to save his comatose son, but when he returns home he receives a phone call and is told his son has died. What ensues is melancholic anger. XD

Really...? I wasn't expecting the huge response. Very well, I'll see about translating it (seeing as to how I'm not a pro translator) as best I can.

When we're in sixth form (which is Year 12 and Year 13), we do two sets of qualifications. In the first year, we have AS exams and coursework; and in the second year, we have A2 exams and coursework. The marks from both of these combine to make an A-Level qualification. ;)

We choose four subjects to study, and then drop one in Year 13. :)
