Stay at CT. Mayor Bloomberg just issued evacuation orders for parts of NYC. Considering NYC is generally a low-lying city...

I live literally 4 miles from it. I'm more than prepared at this point. Hope you guys who are in Irene's wrath are prepared, as well.

EDIT: Crap... The storm is supposed to engulf ALL of NJ. :shock:
And my school starts the wednesday after...

Today I had to help my mother bring some chairs and tables from out backyard so they wouldn't get damaged. We're going food shopping early tomorrow. Bring it on Irene! But be gentle...

It's coming here as well... at least here, there won't be major damage. Internet will be gone for a while(A couple of days... maybe more or less) though... I just hope the damage isn't too bad.

I hear tell that it dropped from a Category 4 to a Category 1 pretty much overnight.

I should have mentioned before that I was ALREADY in NYC when I posted that, and we decided it's safer here than at home.

Anyway, the storms she pushes ahead of herself are hitting us as I speak. I won't be around until after Irene leaves, so wish me luck.
