Change of plans, actually... the more I think about it, the more this just doesn't feel right as a solo project. I'm still really excited about this and I really want to do it but the more I think about it the more I just do not believe in myself to pull this off alone. And if sacrificing any chance I had at winning the comp is what I have to do to recruit a collaborator to help me out here, I'd be more than happy to do so, since I've never been entering comps to win them anyway.

So, because of this, I'd like to invite any of the following individuals to collab with me on this case, which I will then withdraw from the competition so the rest of you can work on your case if you're working on one... incredibly arrogant to ask anybody here to work on two things at once, but I would easily be able to perform a vast majority of the work as honestly all I need the other person to do is just help me with the ideas I have and form them into something a little more solid. I can easily handle most if not all of the actual scripting as well.

So, with vast apologies that I have to ask for the assistance of all of you...

-Top Priority-
Tap (I guess you could call it Tap Priority...)

-Higher priority even though they aren't Tap because they aren't working on a case for the comp-
Zeel, enigma

-Lower priority because I don't want to take them away from their own projects if I can avoid it at all-
Gumpei, Koopakirby

If you think you're able to make the time to help me out, shoot me a PM and I'll get back to you if someone higher than you on the list didn't get back to me.

Spin the wheel, the wheel of chance.
The outcome is to the Fates, the three of whom decide.
What could it be, a real happenstance?
No matter the case, by these rules I shall now abide.

I'd like to announce that Gumps and I are collaborating on an entry using the theme given to him. You don't even have to change the flavour text for us, he makes a fantastic Not So Gump to my Gump!

I will now proceed to give several extremely vague and cryptic posts whenever I feel like it hinting at the content of my entry. Because I'm just that pretentious.

You know, you can have all the inspiration in the world, but sometimes it's not enough to fix your weaknesses.

Take me, for example. I can't structure a crime alone. I'll probably never be able to. I can't keep details straight, I never know where to go, and I'm just not clever enough. I have a huge passion for scripting, but that can't carry a case sometimes.

But I'm here to show the world. If you ever doubted me, you don't have a clue.

And that's why I have backup on this one, and now that I have that and closure on the past, nothing's gonna stop me from turning in a complete.

And who did I call in? Who do you think? Who can I always count on to give me a solid plot and/or crime to script?

Tap, of course. We're collabing, going off of my prompt!

Ah, so that did work out. It'd been up in the air for a while, glad to hear it.

And I use that song for motivation sometimes too... :P
