Whoops, added v2.0.
Yep, anything can be used- so long as it's credited if the creator requests.

Correct.Doodled wrote:Judging from prior competitions, if a custom sprite is openly posted and available on these forums, then it's fine to be used in a case with credit.SuperAj3 wrote:Ahh yeah, to clarify, Ann-nna and I are entering.
I just had a question about assets, can we use things like custom sprites from the sprite resource threads? (With credit) or is it limited to canon/our own custom assets?
Also agreeing with this. I'll take a couple days to get my own thoughts in order before putting a topic up. Nudge me if there's nothing up in 72 hours. I'm in a weird position where time is tight.DWaM wrote:(...I feel like we should open a separate topic for this at this stage. Re: Setting the Stage
I see people sharing previews of their case, so here's a glimpse at our opening.
I'm slowly working out how to use the v6 editor. I find selecting sfx and music takes a couple of tries before it registers. (Also getting into the habit of hiding the last character when you switch to another character talking).

Re: Setting the Stage
The trick is to click on the textbox after selecting sfx.I find selecting sfx and music takes a couple of tries before it registers.
The trick is to prepare a frame preset for every character, with no background, and with the hiding other character option on.(Also getting into the habit of hiding the last character when you switch to another character talking).

Re: Setting the Stage
Wait, does AAO save frame presets? I thought they reset after a while or something.
Re: Setting the Stage
They reset whenever you enter the editor (or save the changes in editor), but you can have prepared frames for presets and quickly save them as presets for the current use.

Re: Setting the Stage
There were plans to let the editor remember your preset frames, but I think those fell through. I should look into that again.Gamer2002 wrote:They reset whenever you enter the editor (or save the changes in editor), but you can have prepared frames for presets and quickly save them as presets for the current use.

I hate having to push back deadlines, but work has been rather hectic, so I'll ask for another three days.Southern Corn wrote:Just a reminder in case you forgot, Enth.Enthalpy wrote:Also agreeing with this.
