As far as I know, no. But the more frames your trial has in the editor, the more everything will start to lag in the editor, which means that, theoretically, at some point the editor will become unusable for that trial (10000+ frames, I imagine?).

For my part, I'd recommend not making individual trials longer than 3000-5000 frames.
You don't need to make your case using a single trial. You can make multiple trials so as to divide a case into multiple parts.
i.e. Instead of a big trial with 9000 frames you'd divide it into three trials of around 3000 frames.
