What do characters say at the start of trials?
I really dont have my phoenix wright game so I don't know what the people usually say in the beginning of the trial.So... what do they usually say?
Example(its wrong I know):
Judge:Court is in session. This is the trial of _____.
Is the defense ready?
Thank You in advance <3

Well, first it's the green typewriter text describing the date and location, on black screen with no character.
Then, there's 300 milliseconds of "Agitated Court" and "Upset Gallery," followed by 200 milliseconds of "Judge's Gavel x 3"
Judge: "Court is now in session for the trial of __________"
Defendant: "The defense is ready, Your Honor"
(Now, in most real court situations, or anything involving Payne, it's:)
Prosecution: "The prosecution is ready, Your Honor"
(But in the world of Ace Attorney, anything can happen even in between those two simple sentences. Be creative. )
(Typically, the judge will then ask the prosecution to go over the details of the case, after which they will call their first witness. )

The first witness is typically a detective.

And don't forget that they have to state their name and occupation. There is plenty of room to screw that up.
Also, it's common practice to ask the defense some quick questions if it's the first case for the defense.

Translated to Phoenix Wright language, that means the first witnes is always Gumshoe or Ema, and Payne likes to be a jerk to newbies.

I think that we can simplify that rule: Payne is a jerk period. I mean, have you ever seen him act nicely?

Have you ever seen him go up against any lawyer that isn't a newbie, though? (Phoenix's second time doesn't count, he had amnesia, right?)
I think Payne's probably quite the agreeable guy when he has some respect for you.

Igiari, here are the scripts for the most cases in the game. That should make things a lot easier for you. If you don't want to spoil yourself, only look at the first one.

I think it might actually vary. In the end, doesn't really matter how many times he gavels, just that he gavels at all. Right?
