How do I change a character's sprite while they're talking?

I've seen many turnabouts just like the ones in the AA games that the characters expression changes even in the same frame. Like, for example:

Phoenix is reading a paper: The autopsy report clearly states the opposite of what you just said, Ms. Pujols! *Phoenix changes to his index finger pointing sprite* What can you tell us about this, "Ms. Pujols"?!

You have to merge two texts, using the "Merge with next" button.
In the first, you select the first sprite and the part of the sentence to which it corresponds, and in the next one you put the second sprite and the corresponding sentence.

You can do that with more than 2 texts, by the way.

Of course, in the real game, they'll frequently do things that would require several Merges and f#/s# commands in one sentence. So it can get pretty tiring. :shock:

For the silly things that the game does, look at the phone throw.

Look at where it says "Data for the Check button :" then press "add". ;)
