How do I use the "reveal a conversation" action?

Post by karlkablisk »

I looked around and didn't see it. I'm pretty stuck on this

For "reveal a conversation" in investigation

Which frame do you put in
"Place ID"

And which one do you put into
"Conversation ID"

??

I tried so many combinations but its not working. Just tell me whats what. Place ID of what? is the conversation ID the ID attached to the whole investigation?

Am I using the IDs that are in my conversation thing? If I mess up it wont save at all, I have to do test save to see the error and its not cluing me into which IDs I'm supposed to use. A screenshot would help the fastest just say this is a conversation ID and this is a place ID. I could have sworn I was doing it right but I can't get it to work.

Thanks,

Both numbers are not normal message numbers, but special id numbers created by the things mentioned. Each place have an id number and so does each talk topic. Both numbers are show in the block headers for the respective blocks.
Currently working on a redesign of Court-records.net.

Yeah, I tried using those first, but I couldn't get it to work. Your 1st investigation gets an ID #1 for the location you make and then under talk is also an ID#1 and a ID #2 for the 2nd conversation topic.

I want to hide conversation topic 2 and reveal it when I present evidence. I set it to hide and tried using these special ID numbers. #1 for the place and 2 for the Conversation #2 that I am trying to reveal.

Error every time :(

Don't you hate it when you get an error, then finally ask for help and then it starts working?

I still don't know why it didnt work before. Given the same scenario I gave you in the previous message I Just put place 1 conversation 2.

Works fine.

:/ Thanks though
