How do I horizontally flip character sprites?

In the trial I'm working on, which also happens to be my first venture into trial-making, I'm using the Apollo Justice sprite as a prosecutor. I want to invert him horizontally so I can have him face defense attorneys in court, so I was simply wondering if it's possible to do that in the editor, or if I need to obtain custom .gifs or something that flip him around. If that's the case, how do I insert these custom animations into the editor?

The editor cannot do that automatically. You have to create your gif animation yourself (or ask someone to do it for you), and then read the How-To about external content, that explains among other things where to host files and how to use them for characters.
