How do I make a character not move their mouth?

How do I make a character not move their mouth?
Well, when I want to make Phoenix say/think something, I use the 'Previous pictue' button, but when Phoenix is talking the mouth of the character on screen moves as if he/she was talking. Is there a way to fix this?
