I think it's pretty self explanatory >_>

At the point where you need to leave an investigation, jump out of it with a go directly to message action.

Indeed. Use the action called "Skip directly to a message". Use this in the last dialogue in your investigation to skip to a message that is AFTER all of your investigation blocks.
