This is probably one of the cleanest first-time-Apollo-edit I've ever seen! (Almost everyone starts with Apollo or Phoenix XD)
I like how you detailed his face a little to differ from Apollo's!

I concur with SuperAj3, despite it being evident that you used Apollo as a base, there are several features that you changed about him, and ended up with a new character (if you made all his courtroom poses, he would be a very legit character to start a fangame). Good job!

Thanks for the comments, I appreciate it! I'm going to make all the sprites, definitely. Probably gonna alter a little more stuff to dffer from Apollo, as well. His poseswill be different, more serious and mature.

Welcome. It's nice having more pixel artists around here.

Re: titleguy1's Art and Things.
Of course I did. If I didn't, it wouldn't have my "initials" on it.
Here's the full version.
Sorry for the double post, but I finished the sprite. However, I'm not sure how to stop him from blinking over and over again. Can anyone help?
Oh, yes, I'm also using Photoshop Elements 7.0 for this.

It looks really good. I really like the values in it and the blending, the textures make me jealous XD
The stand for the wing on the back view feels a bit thin but I'm guessing you know this already, some of it seems incompleteish. I can't stop staring at that carbon fibre, lol. That and the rims look really fine.
With the blinking things, I'm not familiar with Elements 7 but it looks like it's a timing issue. Is there some kind of timing option somewhere to extend the length of the not blinking frame?

Yeah, the wing stand bothered me, too. I just had no time to finish it. As for the rims, I didn't make them. That's why there're credits above the big 'ol "TG1"
As for Mr. Patterson, not that I'm aware of. I can check again.

Re: titleguy1's Art and Things.
I think that sprite of the sportscar looks incredible! Very well detailed and shaded. Good use of that cross-hatching (Do you still call it that with pixels?) for the shading and the finer details too!
For blinking the keyframe timings I use are:This makes the blinks look a little more random (and is essentially the timing the court-records.net sprite rips use)
Other than that he looks good! I have a critique about his posture (This is a trap Apollo based sprites fall in when they lower his arm XD). When his arm is resting on the bench, it looks natural for him to have his posture slightly slumped, as his resting on the bench, but when both arms are at his side, he should straighten his back up a little, it looks like he's sticking his head forward (If that makes sense).
I wonder how similar Elements is to Photoshop CC...titleguy1 wrote:Sorry for the double post, but I finished the sprite. However, I'm not sure how to stop him from blinking over and over again. Can anyone help?

Re: titleguy1's Art and Things.
By cross-hatching do you mean zippering?
And for the posture, I see. Yes, I think I kinda-sorta-maybe fixed it. It still needs work.
I can't change the frames separately, which is the main problem. For some reason, Elements 7 doesn't allow me to.

Re: titleguy1's Art and Things.
Zippering! So that's what it's called! Yes that's what I was talking about. (Cross hatching is used more talking about hand drawn art).
As for the posture, just play around with shifting horizontal chunks of the sprite back to try and straighten his back, and then fix the details that get messed. To give you an idea, look at Mia's (for example) posture in her DA sprites.
(Sorry if I'm sounding picky )
Also, nice recolour too!

So I'm officially done with this. Now all I need is someone to help me.
So, if you're willing, please change the rate to what seems suitable. Thanks! I'll credit you, because... Uh, you kinda have to.
CnC is always welcome.

I ditched the gifs and made a picture of all the sprites instead. Here's where I'm at.
