I did a bit of an edit, though. I've resized him, so you have two sizes to choose from. One is more proportionally correct to him standing on a box and doesn't look like Mr. McKittens is someone in a cat suit...

Arthur Gaines base revamp:



I've always wanted to upgrade Gaines' sprites to HD, but never had the time to do so... In comparison with the older sprites, which are still up for view in the first post, the body is far more cleaner in these new ones as well as being much sharper. The only task left to do is HD-ify the heads, but they're in the hands of someone much more qualified than me~

You should make them way more angular and not so round-y, and make them thiner and not so thick (Not talking about the outlines, talking about the fingers themselves). On another note the first one is better regarding the outlines of the arm. Though I don't like the shadow of the sleeve on the arm, make it lower and it'll be perfect

Sprite Update: 1/07/2012

I've been working on this for a while, and I'm pretty happy with the end result. My only issue I have with is how I drew the mask. Then again, I spent at most twenty minutes on it... So, a bit of backstory first! I really enjoyed the Legend of Korra series, and just had to make a sprite of the Big Bad... I even drew it pixel by pixel in Paint, which I never do!

Run, Edgeworth! He's planning to take your "Logic" magical powers away!

Alternatively, if I remove the mask, he becomes a sprite of Viper I can use in JM!

Yep! But I have no secret awesome ninja spriting skills... I'm rather terrible at shading and light sources, but since Amon's sprite is pretty easy to determine, it looks a bit better...
