Here is a new picture I've painted today, late at night when I'm supposed to be sleeping!! (And letting my bro sleep, for that matter.)

I need more work on the face... but it's more painterly than my older works, right? ...Right?

So majestically graceful yet serene... as the simple streaks blow my emotions like the woman's dress. Have my eyes been shut like hers? Do I dare open them and regret missing on such beauty? Or do I keep my eyes shut, and enjoy the ignorance. Like the black and gold amber dress I refuse to blend in with the background, I contrast, I view, I speak I say, I indulge. I enjoy in simplicity that which is art by Empress Mimi.

To me it just seems that you got lazy halfway through and didn't care painting the rest of the picture properly. It just annoys me to see something that could possibly be a great piece left like this.

You have definitely improved though. Colours in this one are great.

Hey btw, wanna hear a suggestion~? Make a background. The type that you could use in trials~ It's two birds with one stone: since you never draw backgrounds you get much needed experience and you can also use what you draw in your trials~

Not bad but the face is fairly uneven. Try flipping the picture horizontally and you'll see what I mean.
