*spittake* GOT POSTING IN HIS SPRITE THREAD WHAT WHO WHEN WHERE HOW?!

Actually I don't have sprites to post and quite frankly I should change the title to "Art Thread" but whatever EFFORT! I actually have a few pics from my art class that I felt like posting here. Note that the photo quality's terrible but that's only because they were taken on an iPhone 3 in a hurry.

These two were for a project where we had to draw a realistic picture in crayon. I finished Inigo early and was told to do a second one, where I chose the Spanish Inquisition cuz...Spaniards, iunno. They're not perfect, but I'm really happy with how they came out, since they're probably the best thing I'll ever manage to do involving a crayon any time soon.

WOOOOAH PICTURE OF ME. Sorta. My face in watercolor, for a self-portrait project, using my senior photo as a reference (so I don't really look as overly-prettied up and unscruffy most of the time). Something looks off about it in the photo (I think it warped weirdly for hte pic or something...) but I'm really proud of this one, since I have little experience with watercolors. And yes, that is approximately how thick my eyebrows are IRL. The infamous eyebrows of Got have finally shown themselves. Bow down to the uber-brow.

One that I finished literally today, with the project of making an intimidating creature using animals from the land, water, and sky. I chose a tortoise, shark, rhino, fly, eagle, and a battleship (totally cheating but who cares it's awesome), and my teacher suggested the long neck (since the shark head in the turtle shell was a tad derpy). He also suggested I put it at Santa Monica Pier, so...that's there. Anyway, while I'm not overly fond of the background (screw backgrounds seriously ugh D: ), I'm VERY happy with how the monster came out. I never really draw animals so this took like fifty (that's hyperbole it was like 5-10) pre-sketches to get right, and I'm satisfied with the result.

Anyway that's all for now. Enjoy ze arts of artiness, I'll probably post more down the line but am too lazy to send them from my phone. :L

Damn, I didn't know you could draw THIS well. Like, you're already amazing with digital media, but you're that much better on analog media. :april:
