It's a bit boring. Not a bad scratch sprite, but the colors are dull. The vest, the shirt, and the tie and his face lack enough contrasting shades. Don't use black for outlining. For outlines, make the outline color compliment the previous shade or blend between the two major parts.

And because of the lack of shading, the vest and the shirt make it look like it was pasted on to him, making the sprite look flat, no offense.

Shading's still a little off, but otherwise, I think it's the better of the two

If you ask me, both are pretty good.

Snake's shading IS off, and the outlines certainly do need to be fixed, since his face doesn't match with this body and... no.

The girl is better, because the outlines match. I guess add some more colors and fix the shading some more? You're doing great though. I really like the girl one.
