Hi all! My name's Mick and that's the place where you can find some of my graphic stuff. I've got sprites, banners for sigs, boxart (not many though) and some cake which will, for cleanliness' sake, not be displayed here. Also, that'd be offtopic. Given that, have fun with the stuff below. If you're just looking, go ahead! If you want to use some of the stuff I've created, I'd be happy, if you read the rules below.

If you want to use my work:
  • You don't need to ask for my permission, if you want to use my canon characters; just leave a short message here. Credit would be nice.
  • If you want to use one of my OC's, you'll have to do both, ask for permission and leave in-game credit. Also, PM me a link to your trial, because I'd like to have a look at it.
  • If you want to brighten your sig up by using one of my banners, ask for permission. In return, no credit necessary. I repeat: No credit necessary, if you use one of my banners here on AAO. That's quite unusual, I know, but hey! You don't have any negative effect due to this, so why would you care?
  • Do not edit any of my work without my permission!
With no further ado, have a look at my work. Critique is very encouraged, by the way. Raging and flaming, though, is not.

These are great. I hope you finish Bansai soon. Your Phoenix front sprites are flawless, except the start up damage as his body kind of crumples. I really like Gregory, Von Karma and polly. Can I use your Phoenix Front Sprites for a trial series I'm making?

You're pretty, good, but, your Kristoph sprites body has shading problems. My favorite one is Wellington, though!

I think you need to mark for GK2 spoilers, since Bansai is in there. Good sprites, though.

Thanks. I'll do this.

Good, that you like the sprites.

EDIT: Here is the new Kristoph design. :)

Honestly, I liked the old version better. But the shading still has problems!

I see, there are different opinions. The users in the german section prefer the new version.
Or do you just like the old poses of Kristoph better? Of course I'll make the old poses with the new sprites, too. :) But if you like, I'll let the old sprites in the thread, too. And this is still a design, it's not ready, yet.

It's great to see some more front Apollo sprites, good work. :D
Like the creator of Final Fantasy, I'm better at telling a story.

Overall some pretty nice sprites, though there are a couple that do need work.
Your Phoenix front sprites are great, though not 100% accurate. The lapels are completely different in his regular defence sprites, so definitely take a look at that.
The Apollo sprites definitely have potential, though the outlines and hair are quite messy. There are also a few stray white pixels near the bottom in most of them.
Kristoph unfortunately needs a ton of work. The body looks really awkward, as does the shading. Your newer Kristoph design looks much better, though the outlines aren't looking too smooth.
Wellington once again has potential, but the line going down from the lapel looks really messy, and his left arm has a weird shape in its sleeve down the bottom.

So yeah, like I said, pretty nice overall. I'll definitely keep on eye on this topic. =)

The problem is: Animake makes one special black shade white. :? And I still don't know how to animate with GIMP (I tried it many times but without success :( )

That has one reason: The Kristoph set was the first set I tried to make. (The latest set was the Gregory set.)

One last thing: I'm still a newbie at spriting. I'm still learning. Hopefully I become better.
Of course I'll overwork my incomplete sprites.

I use Animake. And for making the sprites I use PAINT.NET :)
