Can you do a guide about how to animate a sprite?
This guide isn't actually finished yet, and that's one of the two remaining steps.

Transparency is default. You don't need to do it.

This guide assumes a basic knowledge of Paint.net. It's not a difficult program to use.

OK, just so we're clear, you are definitely using Paint.net, and not the default Paint program that Windows computers come with, right?

If you have got Paint.net, just use the Magic Wand tool to select the background colour, and remove it.

If you don't have Paint.net, you can get it from here.

And remember to save as either PNG or GIF. JPEG not only cannot keep transparency, but it also compresses your files, dropping the image quality.

I used the guide, and I ended up making this..

Eheh, I think maybe the parts might be easy to figure out, but oh well. It was only a test so I didn't animate it or anything, though.

For a first try, it's not bad. a Bit messy, and has a bit of anti-aliasing issues, but it's definitely more than passable. A suggestion i'd give is shading under the bangs, since it just looks like it's hovering in front of the head, and not a part of the head.

Keep spriting, you've got a good start.
