Is the mouth alright? I can't find a nice, flat mouth to franken.
Oh and about the

really weird and sharp change of shadow in the middle

does it still have that? I honestly didn't even notice a problem the first time.

I also plan to make the jacket less shiny, and for the left flap to go under the right flap a bit, like in real suit jackets.

What about a bowtie to complete the "secret agent" feel?

I was focusing on the technical spriting rather than character design... but yeah, now that you mention it, his design is a tad bland. Something like a bowtie might be a good idea.

The mouth isn't bad, but it could definitely stand to be better.
