Doodly comic I made without any real idea of what it was supposed to be... oh well. Crappy pictures, as usual. I wish I could've just done the entire page at once. :/

But my question is, how can he have a goldfish if he hates water?

Either way, it's very nice, and entertaining. EVEN IF WE DON'T KNOW WHO MYSTERY LADY IS.

I like the comic. Also, lol pneumonia, the illness wherein water enters the lungs infecting a fish. Best joke ever.

late person to the party yay

But like Ami said several pages ago, wow. :\ Your art IS good enough to be sold. (And your paintings... UGHHHHHH THEY ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE PAINTINGS UNLIKE MY DISGUSTING COLOR VOMIT. I hold my fist in anger!! And mm, that brown-haired boy... not too bad-looking. xD) :) But still, even as jealous as I am of your skills, I have faith that one day I'll improve that much too.

;_; er, i mean i hope

er, i mean, i'll leave your thread in peace...

Thanks, guys. I appreciate the support. :D

And Mimi, nooooo! Anything but that! D: Also, I'm hoping to maybe practice painting more in the future. I'm finally out of my creative funk, anyway, so I guess you can expect some art from time to time now. So long as school isn't too busy for me, which it shouldn't be.

So here's Uezama being happy about... something. Probably something satanic.

Now I regret starting it as a doodle and not having done proper lineart for it. :/ Although... MAYBE THAT'S THE SECRET. I MEAN WHEN DO I ACTUALLY DRAW WELL WITH /PROPER LINEART/. OKAY I HAVE DECIDED, PROPER LINEART IS NOW BANNED FOREVER FROM MY KINGDOM. CAVERN. WHATEVER.

Uezama is such a cutie. I do have some questions, though.

- Do you use different size brushes, or do you use pen pressure dynamics for line size?
- Do you do the same for opacity or color? Because I'm having a hard time doing those shade lines in b&w drawings.
- How are you able to get that "sketch-like real life pencil/pen" quality?

I don't know what universe you're living in, those lines are ART. Therefore, you have done lineart. In even more blatant terms, YOU HAVE PULLED AMAZING AGAIN.

:) The lines don't have to be perfectly thin and delicate to be art, yanno.

- I usually try to use the same brush size all the time, although for stuff like the eyelash part of the eye, I sometimes make it bigger. Otherwise, it's really the pressure.
- I don't mess with the opacity much while I'm drawing. I did try a few things but it didn't look very good, so I just dropped it.
- I use the brush tool, which is pretty handy for different kinds of lines. I figured out why the pen tool is so hard to use for me: when I draw traditionally, I sketch or draw things out with really pale lines, and then I make the strokes darker and darker, so I end up drawing along the same lines many times. I can do that with the brush tool, but not with the pen tool. The brush tool can go from really soft to almost pen-like lines, depending on the pressure.

Thanks, everyone. ^q^ I really appreciate your comments. And that goes for you guys who commented on it on the xat and tried to give me tips, too. I'll be working on my art style.

I dunno, it looked great to me, the opacity stuff. But then again, I'm still new at this relatively. Thanks for the tips, Wolfy! I follow in the example of you, Sleuth, and the webcomics I read ^_^
