Alrighty.

You know, I could do a whole bunch more complimenting, but this chapter is pretty much the culmination of everything I've said before. You do a fantastic job at basically everything you need to do a fantastic job in: tone setting, characterization (Well aside from Meph but eh it's Meph), descriptive writing, transitions... you basically nail all of that quite, quite well. You didn't really succeed at generating tension, in my opinion, but it was an enjoyable enough ride (and I'm not sure how much that was your goal), that that really didn't bother me too much. The ending was fantastic, and pretty much the whole chapter is a fulfilling conclusion to everything that came before.
(Also, you better do what you agreed to do in the epilogue. D:<)

Thank you very much. I was hoping to generate at least a bit of tension, though. Then again I'm not sure how seriously you can take this fic. That's probably the thing that bugged me the most, as I wasn't really sure if I was being too serious, not serious enough, etc.

Your reviews were all helpful and fun to read! I'll see about going back and fixing the things you noted, as I'm probably not the best editor for myself.

Just finished this off now, I've been busy.
That was pure beauty, Sleuth. The ending... magic. Enchanting. Badass seal of approval, would dine again.

Yeah, like everyone else, this was really good. You did a great job of getting everyone's characters, and also working in all our AAO in-jokes (and not just randomly throwing them out for the sake of throwing them out, but getting them to fit within the flow of the conversation)

I guess I could've tried to mix it up a bit after enigma put up his ending-- I honestly didn't expect him to take that route, so the endings ended up similar. I guess I probably could've thought up something different, but it is the "Last Days" of AAO, so I guess it had to end somehow.
