You're improving a lot with shading and composition and it's showing! Also you drew her face really nicely! (I remember seeing when you started sharing sprites and any side-on heads were always squashed in, so this shows how much your anatomy's improved!)

Not bad, if I had a criticism or two, I'd say that the jawline needs to be more defined, and maybe a bit more pronounced, because something about it seems odd. Along with that, it doesn't really look like the flowing part of her hair is really connected to the rest of her hair (rest of her hair being tied in a topknot.) This is due to the coloration of the hair and the way it is drawn. The coloration issue is that the hair that's tied up is more of a purple-ish, while the rest is more Gray/black.

To Illustrate the point about how you drew it, here's the back of Maya's head in official art:



I think the issue is that you drew the knot as if it were tying up all the hair on her head, (Besides her bangs and sidelocks.) when in reality only a certain section of Maya's hair is tied up.
