Near the Pirate Ship
Tea frowned. She was, admittedly, somewhat conflicted. She'd walked to talk with Hikari, thinking that she was somebody the Weapons Chief could actually relate to, and Tea was hardly somebody who would be cowed by a harsh tone of voice or foul language. On the other hand, the woman didn't seem to be in a particularly sociable mood- for completely understandable reasons- and Tea didn't really feel like getting snapped at or sucked into an argument either.
But, hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?
"Actually, I kind of wanted to talk to you." Tea said, keeping her voice as calm and cheerful as possible, giving the girl a calm smile. "See, I'm the person in charge of weapons on my ship, and I heard you were really big on them too. Kind of a nice change of pace from the pacifists in my crew." She then motioned towards Vera and Yukari, who talked silent; they had independently decided to let Tea handle this.
"So I was just kind of curious about why you like weapons, what your favorite kinds of weapons are, that sort of thing?" She punctuated this with a tilt of the head.
"With good friends by your side, anything is possible. If you really care for each other, it makes everyone stronger! Then you'll have the will to succeed! The world is filled with painful things, it's sad sometimes, and you won't be able to handle it by yourself. But just know: If there's someone that you love, you'll stay on the right path. And you won't ever give in! As long as you keep that person in your heart, you'll keep getting back up. Understand? That's why a Hero never loses!"
