Re: Rain: Another Magical Girl RP
Okay so, a number of things.
ONE. I guess Jeanette (Jane) Connie Harp is accepted?
I read it in a hurry so...someone tell me if they have any serious issues with it.
TWO. We've got enough apps to start and more can be accepted after the opening post.
THREE. I'm thinking to start it pretty soon...ish. In maybe 2 days(From today/night) so...thoughts on that?

I'm fine to start whenever, though I probably won't be able to get one out immediately if you start on Tuesday like you're planning.

OOC: Okay, let's start this sucker.
“As Winter moves into Spring we can expect to see much more rain over here on the east side. Over to the north is looking cloudy too. And Soggan is looking to be rather soggy with predicted showers from day to night headed their way. If they weren’t already that is!
Hope you got an umbrella living out there! Or at least a planter on your head, ho ho ho! And back to you Jim!”
-------------------------------------------------
Hills High (Starting Location)
The school bell rings. The water pail drips. And the rain outside continues to fall.
Thus begins the after school activities.
Your teacher tells you not to run home in the rain, while your fellow classmates hurry to prepare their club rooms.
Students talk of meet ups at fast food joints, or their house or... anywhere really.
It seems like the only place people want to be in less than the pouring rain is their classroom.
And while many are told not to be out in the rain, that doesn’t really stop anyone. Outside the window you can see many people hoping and jumping around in the puddles. Or at least you could if it weren’t for the foggy windows.
---------------------------------------------------
Or is it all fog?
A Blurry Thing Can Almost Be Seen By The Main Gate

Hills High
"Kazuko, take care on your way home. Last time was a close call. I'd advise adjusting your posture."
"Huh? Oh, uh... No, it's okay. I think. I'll be careful."
Kazuko did her best to brush aside the concerns of her Seer. She didn't want to think about it, but Lamorak was right. He had a tendency to give good advice that Kazuko absolutely was not motivated in following. Currently, Lamorak was hidden in one of Kazuko's pockets, usually managing to stay still enough that he could pass as a plush. Of course, most people wouldn't be able to see him at all unless they were also Magical Girls, but Kazuko didn't want to run into trouble. If someone else saw Lamorak, she had already constructed multiple doomsday scenarios where she'd get into a fight and lose. At no point did any of these scenarios end in her victory. She wasn't sure how her power stacked up comparatively, so she decided to assume the worst at all times.
That said, there was absolutely no way she was going to correct her posture. She had lived her entire life learning how to incorrectly walk, and her back would make her pay the price one day, but she was stubborn so that probably canceled it out? Maybe? She wasn't sure. Proper posture was for straight people anyway. It all made sense in her disastrous mind so that was what counted.
"Lamorak, I've got a bad feeling about today. Maybe I should just stay here."
"School would close far before that. If you have a worry in your mind, perhaps you should blend in with the crowd?"
"... Oh, um. Blending in with the crowd. Yes. That strategy that exists. I, um. Well. I could try it. Sort of. Maybe. ... I should look over my options."
Kazuko stepped outside of her classroom, and in the hallway, she tried to look around for people. Some group she could slip into and not stand out in, so she could walk outside. ... No, she wasn't sure why she was being so nervous. She was a bit of a paranoid one, and it was basically a coin flip as to whether her anxiety or her desperate need to feel safe would win out.

Re: Rain: Another Magical Girl RP
Class 1-C:
Because of the rain that frequently showered the town, Hills High had a higher than average number of after-school clubs that students would participate in, rather than scramble home in the pouring rain and wet concrete. Thorne's was, of course, the Anime Club, because she had no shame. Though there was another reason she attended...
"Thooorne! Let's go!" A bespectacled girl with long, unkempt violet hair waited just outside her classroom, bouncing with excitement like a puppy happy to see their master. "You got the DVD, right?"
"Of course." Thorne replied, pulling out a DVD case titled: "CutieStrike Gold & Silver: The Movie: Love Ultimate! The Final Clash In the Sky of Destiny!!". A classic magical girl series from the early 2000s, Rose had fought hard for the movie to be included in their next movie watch for the Hills High Anime Club, and had just barely won out over "Peroxide: Soul Revenger".
"Yes! I've been waiting so long for this!" Rose said pumping her fist. She reached out and grabbed Thorne by her lanky arm. "Let's get going!"
"S-sure, let me just grab my bag." Thorne said, hiding the blush on her face with the checkered scarf permanently wrapped around her neck.
"I'll meet you there!" Rose said, and sped down the halls, almost immediately running into someone.
Thorne sighed and turned to her seat, quite near the window. As she leaned down to pick up her belongings, something out the window caught her eye; at first it seemed to be only a blur, but a second glance told her it was no mere smudge.
"What...? Here? Now?" Thorne pressed up against the window, "Chili... Is that what I think it is?"
A small, flame-colored head peeked out of her bag. "Chichichi! Sure is, Thorney!"
"Just my luck..." Thorne bit her lip. She desperately wanted nothing more than to watch poor quality anime with high lesbian subtext with her Close Friend, but... If she just let the Ghoul roam freely, it would be a problem. She'd decided that even if the ghouls were nowhere near Rose currently, that could always change. It was better to nip it in the bud.
"It shouldn't take long." She decided, and picking up her bag, her eyes narrowing in determination. "Let's go, Chili."
Thorne walks through the hallway towards the courtyard.
