In everyone's life, there come many opportunities. Opportunities of all types. Job opportunities, moneymaking opportunities, opportunities to be successful. Yet, there is one type of opportunity that is more common than any other, and yet one which human nature avoids more successfully than any other...

The opportunity to die.

There are many, many ways one can die, and everyone is exposed to thousands of these ways every minute of every day. We manage to avoid them, without even thinking. We survive each day, never contemplating how likely it is that it may be our last.

But what if you were thrust into a situation where death was an ever-present danger? Where death is everywhere and everything? Where your only desire, your only instinct, is to escape the hell you've been thrust into?

Welcome to the Nonary Game. It is a game... where you will put your life on the line.

Welcome to this RP, The Nonary Incident, based off of the video game 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors. In this roleplay, players will participate in the Nonary Game, a twisted game where death is ever-present and danger is always afoot. Those who have played 999 will be well familiar with it, but no prior knowledge of the game is required to participate. All information that must be known by the players will be given. Now to signups:

Signup Guidelines
- There are only 9 spots, given on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the spots are gone, they're gone, so be quick.
- DO NOT POST YOUR CHARACTER APPLICATION IN THIS TOPIC. You MUST PM it to me and ONLY to me. This is very important (in case the bolded underlined text didn't tip you off).
- Here is the character application you must fill out and PM:

Character Name- If you need me to explain this, please find another RP.
Appearance - As detailed as possible.
Personality- What are the personality traits of your character?
Backstory- Only VERY BASIC backstory. This is subject to change by me at any time until the game starts due to story purposes, and I will play a large role in shaping the backstory of the characters. You will be notified of all changes to your character's backstory before it takes effect, and if you have any objections I'm very reasonable and I will hear you out.

- Numbers will be given to players on a random basis. Don't request numbers. For those who haven't played 999, don't worry about it- you'll be informed of the numbers' significance before the game really gets moving.
- After your character has been accepted by me, post in this topic saying that you have been accepted so people who do wish to sign up can keep track of how many there are. Do NOT put any of your app information in this post, INCLUDING YOUR CHARACTER'S NAME.

Rules for the game are standard fare for roleplays with one exception: All conversations that are meant to be private between a smaller number of characters must occur via PM. All PMs that are part of this roleplay must also be sent to me for moderation purposes. Remember, any private conversation that should not be heard by other characters should be PMed. This does not necessarily include when players split up, however- only private conversations.
