The 1st Annual AAO RP Tournament - Round 2 - Arena A

Welcome to Arena A, the Arena of Fates, Hopes, and Duels. This is where 4 of the 7 battles will be held, simultaneously with Arena B's 3. 

NOW FOR THE RULES!

1. No God-Modding. Any god-modding will result in a penalty. These will carry over to each of the matches you participate in. If you receive 3 penalties throughout the tournament, you will be disqualified.

2. There will be a 10-page limit on each battle. That's 150 posts, including commentary. If by 10 pages, a clear victory hasn't been made, myself, Shadowsleuth, LunchPolice and GuardianDreamer and the other commentators will assume the role of Judges. We will score each combatant and come to a majority decision on the victor.

3. 5 Days without posting = Instant Disqualification. This is to prevent any slowness or inactivity in the battles. However, if you tell me that there will be some problems beforehand, we can arrange something.

4. Ammunition is not unlimited. All gun-wielders are restricted to 4 clips of ammo per battle for their respective weapons.

5. No Super Forms! Let's keep this fair, shall we? This may change during the final and only the final.

6 If you're first, do NOT attack immediately. If you're the first person to post in a battle, do not attack your opponent straight away. Give him/her a chance to introduce themselves first.

7. But most of all fun!

Terrain

There will be 3 different holographic terrains in each Arena, all based on iconic areas from other popular Roleplays. Each may have their own environmental terror.

For Arena A, we have:

Proelio Tower (Town of the Extraordinary, Wind/Height)
Sabolin Throne Room (Endless Time, Light/Interior)
Scientific Base (Cold State, Darkness/Electricity/Interior)

Today's Exhibition Match!

Today, ladies and gentlemen, to introduce you to the tournament, we have drafted in two of the finest fighters in history, to show you how it's really done.

Firstly, allow me to introduce you to today's Exhibition commentators. The amazing, terrifying, and all-round nice guy, Spider-Man. Alongside, is the intrepid explorer of the unknown... Mika Cadenza. 

Now for today's fighters...

I bring you now, to the Prince of the Saiyans, the mighty, the ultimate, the Incredible... Vegeta!!

And sparring against him will be the stealthy, the arrogant, the masterful... Never underestimate this guy, for he will kill you where you stand... Lamont Kilner!

Now, the terrain for this fight shall be the generic Metallic Arena. Nothing special. But they don't need anything special. So, when both fighters are ready, you may begin the battle. Once more that's...

VEGETA!

VS

LAMONT KILNER!! 

Begin!

Lamont entered the arena, already thoroughly annoyed at being drafted into such a petty form of combat. He was a general and a king, not some street beggar to be enlisted.

He looked across the metallic terrain, waiting for his opponent.

[Kruiser666]

Vegeta slowly walked into the metallic plan. No cover, just how Vegeta wanted it.

"So... out of all the fighters in the universe they picked you? Lamont on toast!?" He yelled with disappointment.

Vegeta ran his fingers through is hair and rushed towards Lamont.

"Ahahaha!"

[Drey Wilkins]

"Ahahaha." Lamont laughed along for a few seconds, and then stopped, face dead still.
"I don't have time for this horsecr*p, So let's just move along."

And with that, he started lowering the ambient temperature around them to below freezing.

Vegeta could feel the temperature lowering. Vegeta burst into flight and charged a Ki ball in his has.

"Idiot! Saiyans can surive in space!"

[Drey Wilkins]

"Idiot." Lamont droned in an uninterested tone. "I don't give a rats ass. There's a difference between a vacuum and two hundred degrees below zero."

There actually is. Space can be considered to have no temperature, except for the parts bathed in solar radiation. So technically, this is colder than space.

I'm sure I've heard different. But crappy internet wont let me know for sure so...

Vegeta found himself slowling him speed. It was really getting cold around him.

"I was... wrong. Ha, though this can't stop me." Vegeta threw out a flury of Ki blasts from his hands. Instantly they heated the atmosphere.

"Dodge that!" he screamed as the Ki homed in on Lamont on toast.

On further research: Space is at Absolute Zero in temperature, which is lower than zero Celsius. (About -273 Celsius) But it is possible to lower a temperature below that, so let's just say that we have gone below absolute zero.

MORE investigation, shows that nowhere is actually at absolutely zero unless artificially forced there, because there is always three degrees Celsius of heat applied to wherever you are. (from background cosmic radiation)

Lamont waved one hand, and a huge block of air about six meters thick in front of him solidified into super-dense ice.

The Ki blast slammed into it, nearly digging the entire way through, before Lamont blasted the entire chunk at Vegeta.

Vegeta watched as the wall of ice flew towards him. He stood ground, waiting. Then quickly Vegeta raised his right arm, his palm facing towards the ice.

"Big... Bang... Attack!"

The ice wall came into contacted with Vegeta's hand before he realised his Ki. The wall vanished into the air. With that Vegeta looked back towards Lamont with a smile on his face.

"Ha... you've got nothing." Vegeta said crossing his arms.

Vegeta stood and waiting for Lamont's next move.

"Don't I?" Lamont looked pointedly behind Vegeta.

Do what? I take it you think that Lamont is behind Vegeta - despite the fact that I have considered doing something like that, maybe you should read my post again.

It says that Lamont is looking pointedly at something behind Vegeta. (Pointedly = pointing it out with where you are looking)

Vegeta stood to the side and followed Lamont's vision.

"What the hell are you looking at?"

To clarify: There is a huge wall of ice behind Vegeta.

Lamont blinked twice, and the massive chunk of ice behind Vegeta came crashing down on top of him, while at the same time he conjured another equally sized block and hurled it at him from a diagonal angle.
