Drey, just respect the GM's wishes and use the thread. If this is the way she wants it then let her have it that way, it doesn't matter if it's "necessary" or not.

In relation to GD's question I think you should fix a certain amount of people who could play this as it might get out of hand with a lot of people and all these choices, and stuff to keep track of, that you are giving us. I like the amount of choice btw. I have my own question... is the only race we can play as a human? If so, why? I think you should include other races other then a human if you want a fantasy RP. But that's just my opinion and suggestion.

And the reason I need an OOC thread is, as I stated IN the OOC thread itself, that I'm going to be dumping huge amounts of information and trivia there, and also because I know that some things in the original post are very vague and I expected people to have a lot of questions, especially about the job classes and such, and it would clutter up the IC thread and make going through posts a chore. Also, I have this...I don't know what it is, it's not OCD, but almost, something like it. It just bothers me. A lot. I have this compulsive need for 'cleanliness'. That's why I asked them not to post other things in the main thread, because it would make it 'untidy'. I'm sorry, I know it's a problem on my end and it's a rather selfish reason, but from my point of view it's really not that hard to just go to the OOC thread.

Oh, and since my RP is quite RPG-ish, some parts of the plot are up to the 'players'. We'd have rather lengthy discussions about it and I feel it would be better to have them in the OOC thread. IMO it'd be more practical to be able to clearly see all the IC posts.

These are my reasons. IMO they're enough to warrant an OOC thread. :/ Sorry if this isn't how you're used to doing things, but I've RP-ed for years, always with OOC threads, so I'm used to it.

You guys have a good point about the character limit rule, though. I guess it didn't occur to me that a lot of people would join since I haven't seen that many RPers here. But I'll limit it to 2 characters per person, and 6 'players'. Which would make a maximum of 12 characters, and I doubt everybody's going to have 2, so I think it'll be manageable. Otherwise, a party of 6 works just as well. I'll add that rule to the main thread.

@cooliodude: Yes, the only race you can play as is human, as stated in the main thread. However, you'll also notice that it says, "for now". You'll see.

I like BannedStory... anyway, I might sign-up later. It depends on the answer to my question... which is: Can my characters have known each other in the past? The characters I have in mind kind of have their backstories connected.
