Spoiler : :
Still don't know what to do with Lawrence because SQUIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID but I got an idea for Tath and can respond as Sam now.
Beijing, China

Tath heard a faint noise coming from the tank. He didn't see anything, or smell anything, but he heard what sounded like a gas leak...

...He realized what was happening. The coward was trying to poison him. Tath tigthened his bandana over his mouth and nose as his heartbeat began to race. Crap, what do I do now? he thought. either I'm poisoned up here or flattened down there...

Kageno caught him in a Catch 22. He seemed to be screwed no matter what he did. He supposed he could jump to a building, but he couldn't climb quickly enough to get away from the barrel of the tank. This seemed like it could have been the end of Tath...

...but he suddenly remembered something. Back from his fight with Clara. He remembered her doing something at one point when they were dueling...she was off her bike...and when she snapped her fingers...

Tath grinned under his bandana. That would work.

He raised his arm into the air, his thumb pressed against his middle finger. He gave a loud SNAP as the gas poured from the tank. Behind him, from in front of the tank, his bike's headlights flashed and the engine revved up by itself. The wheels quickly began to spin, sparks flying from the concrete as the bike pushed itself forwards on its own, just as it had done when Clara owned it.

The bike dashed forward, headed straight up the side of the tank as if it were a ramp, The bike sped up towards Tath, who quickly grabbed the handle and threw himself onto it. He quickly gained control, but before he rode off, he pulled the front wheel up, making the back wheel land on the cockpit's entrance as the metal wheels revved up. Sparks flew every direction as the wheel scratched the entrance up, until Tath revved the engine once more and sent him off the back of the tank.

He soon found himself speeding away from the tank, riding off in the opposite direction as quickly as he could. He pulled down his bandana and looked back, smirking as he zoomed away from Kumori's vehicle.

-------

Sam sat reading her manga for quite a while. Reading the latest volume of her favorite manga took her mind off of the whole failed-assassination-ending-in-getting-shot thing. Even still, she couldn't quite get into the plot as much as she usually did. Her mind still lingered over what happened, as much as she wanted to just forget it and move on.

She suddenly heard her door open, and she put the manga down. "Hello?" It was Luke. Probably coming to check in on her or something.

"Oh, uh...hey, Luke-sama," she said nervously. She wasn't sure what to say right now. Luke had expected her to carry out the assassination of Hou Chao, after all, and she failed to do so twice. He might be mad at her, or at least dissapointed. Then again, she also barely knew who this guy was. All she knew was that he was an American spy like her who was sent to keep an eye on Saburo. Why he knew about her and the mission she was given, she didn't quite know...

"Um...sorry about that, by the way." She looked towards the floor, avoiding eye contact. "The whole assassination thing...I guess I was a little in over my head and just couldn't pull it off...sorry if I screwed up the plans or anything like that..."

The English Channel
Closing in on the Harbors of England:

Enzo mulled over the Gerard's reply. To protect his nation, eh? Then again, he doesn't sound all to enthused about it. Well, best not to worry about it right now. He took another sip from his wine glass, draining the last of the rosy liquid down his throat. It tingled as it passed down, and the thought briefly crossed his mind that he shouldn't be drinking alcohol when about to be surrounded by heavy machinery. Eh. It's for my health.

"Captain!" Said the pilot, "We've arrived at the docks. Preparing to unload the cargo currently."

Enzo nodded, placing the empty glass back onto the armrest. "It seems we shall be seeing each other soon, Monsieur Heifer. It is an honor to do work with Her Highness. Adieu."

With that, he closed the connection and stood up, a smirk crossing his face. Showtime.

"Alright, men, all hands on deck! We're getting these weapons to the factory, quick as possible! Vamos!"

The crew of the Eclair quickly leapt into action, quickly rushing out onto the deck, as the motorized cranes of the Harbor began to pick up the deadly cargo from the ship's hold. Enzo himself walked to the top of the deck, a air of nonchalance about him, but his eyes kept sharp for an ambush. His gaze darted across the harbor, as the British Naval Crew began to assist with the movement. The heavy cargo, still locked within their enigmatic crates, were heaved off, six in total, onto a series of large transport cars. The vehicles rolled out, each of them, towards the laboratory, as soon as they were loaded.

Enzo himself quickly pulled aside his first mate: a young lady by the name of Eve Weathertide. She was a strong young woman of about 24 years of age, quite young in comparison to her Captain, but was loyal and fierce to her cause and her Captain. She wore a black privateer uniform, with red trim and brass buttons, a rapier at her side and her dark hair pulled into a long braid behind her.

"Weathertide," Enzo commanded in French, though keeping his voice low regardless, "I expect you to handle my ship while I am away."

"...You intend to investigate the weapons, Captain?" Eve replied, snapping to attention as she did so.

"I think you know by now that my relationship with the military is... less than smooth," Enzo responded. "I merely need to see with my own eyes that this weapon is not something I will have cause to regret."

"If I may, sir," Eve said, "All weapons give cause to regret. It all depends on what shall win us the war."

"A fair point," Enzo replied with a smirk. "Keep her safe."

With that, he walked off, quickly approaching one of the transports. "Pardonnez-moi! Sir! Might I catch a ride with you...?"
Spoiler : :
Heading off to unnamed British Factory now, so the weapons can be finished and all. Got, I guess you can have the Super Russian Attack Squad move in after them, if you want, and DLA as well.
-----

The Streets of Beijing:

"The package has been dropped, sir. Luring in enemy to the mousetrap."

"Excellent work," The Head Doctor said, not bothering to even turn towards the receiver. He now stood in the main control room, and had opened up a conference call to his superiors in Congress.

"So," One of the Senators spoke, their image and voice distorted just in case the feed was being tapped, "You managed to successfully administer Operation X?"

"Yes, it worked as you predicted," The Doctor reported with a grin. "Undesirable AF-95 has been successfully contained, and is ready to assist in our upcoming operations."

Another Senator merely picked their fingers, looking unimpressed. "In the end, it seems that AF-95 was merely another small name with a big ego. All bark and no bite. Are you sure containment is an affordable idea?"

"Even a caged rat is still a rat," The third Senator chimed in, "And be warned, if the rat gets loose, Doctor, you shall be personally charged."

The Doctor bowed. "Of course."

"I see no issue with the plan as of this moment. Vote?"

"Yea."

"Yea."

"It is settled, then. Carry on, Doctor. AF-95 is to be brought to Hangar 12 for further containment, until he is ready to assist with Protocol 12."

There was no goodbye; merely the flick of a switch, and the room went dark. The Head Doctor slowly exited the room, pushing up his glasses as he did so, then returned to Saburo's room.

"Doctor, we have confirmation. The rebels have taken the bait."

"Excellent," The Head Doctor replied, taking his seat next to Saburo's bed. The wounded rebel was merely lying down, his dazed crimson eyes staring blankly at the ceiling. Perhaps he was thinking of reaching over and pulling the plugs on his support system; was this rebel more willing to die than to assist his sworn enemies? No, he obviously wasn't-- And that was how all of these self-righteous buffoons were; all grandiose and "for the people"... At least until the bullets started flying at them. Saburo Kirio, for all his talk, was just another wounded soldier, lying in bed. The thought made the Head Doctor giggle with delight.

"Did you hear that, Mr. Kirio?" The Head Doctor said, not truly caring whether Saburo heard or not, "The body has been taken. You're officially dead-- it's only a matter of time before the news goes worldwide."

He took a cigar from his breast pocket and stuck it between his teeth with a satisfied smirk. "Want one?"

No response.

"Ha, not a smoking guy, eh?" The Head Doctor said, lighting up the cancer stick. "Ah, well. That's fine. I think you'll enjoy working with us, Mr. Kirio. America, a fine country it is. Only gotten finer with time. Land of the free, home of the brave. And you very much like freedom, don't you, Mr. Kirio?"

Saburo gave a weak laugh. Freedom. Yeah, right.

Spoiler : :
Okay, it's show time! The moment some have been waiting for: Bluemann's Escape! part Uno!
A prison in Russia
Thomas Bluemann had been brainstorming for days in his cell. Although the guards found it weird that he would request for a floor-plan of the prison, they gave it to him anyway. He found that outside the room where he was being held, there was a network of air ducts. He also found 2 crucial rooms to his escape: The prison warden's office, where he had heard his stuff was, and a room full of the infamous helicopters he had heard so much about back in his training camp. He planned to make his escape by first making a stealthy trip to the warden's room, where he would retrieve his weapons and survival kit, then go to the room with the helicopters, where he would then make his getaway. He had to be stealthy because the guards were heavily armed, and could kill him in an instant if they chose. Another crucial part of his escape would be to get the electrical lock of his cell open without the guards noticing. It was nothing out of his skills, but if he was caught trying to open it, they'd probably kill him then and there. These Russians weren't messing around, so he would have to make sure to be on his toes the entire time. All he needed is to wait for a day when there was the least amount of guards. On that day, something happened. One of the guard's walkie-talkies came on:
"We need you 3 down here stat! We don't have enough guards in this sector to neutralize this riot!"
"We'll be down there is 2 minutes, over!"
They got up.
"Don't go anywhere. Oh, wait, you can't anyway!"
"Yeah right, like I'm gonna stay here when this is my chance to escape"
The guards rush out the door.
"Now's my chance!"
He instantly begins working on the lock, it takes him only a few seconds to unlock it. Now he was out.
"Now, to get into the air ducts"
He rips off the duct cover and climbs in, he carefully puts it back into place. He then, by memory, makes his way to the warden's office. When he gets over the room, he sees the warden panicking.
"This is bad, if they don't control that riot, we'll have prisoners on the loose!"
Bluemann then kicks the grate, it then hits the floor. The warden is frozen in his tracks.
"You ALREADY have prisoners on the loose"
He turns around.
"YOU! How did you manage to get out?"
"Next time you lock me in a cell, have it one that you can throw away the key to"
"You have no weapons, on the other hand, I do!"
He holds Bluemann's pistol in his hands, and pulls the trigger, nothing happens.
"Maybe you should've turned the safety off first"
Bluemann kicks him in the chest, slamming him into the wall, and knocking the gun out of his hand. Bluemann then slams the warden's chair on his head, breaking it, and knocking the warden out cold. Bluemann then picks up his pistol and grabs his other stuff.
"Now, to find my way to that room full of those helicopters and get outta here!"

Spoiler : :
Awesome, your last post could use some work. When we roleplay, we like our stories to be logical in the context of the story. I'm saying this not to discourage you from writing, but rather to help you write better posts in the future. I'm going to state it plainly; your last post wasn't very realistic, even given how unrealistic this RP already is. Now, this is all fiction, and to be fair, this IS the roleplay where a motorcycle chase blew up a skyscraper, but even in fiction some sense of realism regarding the actions and motivations of characters create a willing suspension of disbelief. It's okay to take acceptable breaks from reality which happens a lot in roleplays; but when stretched too far, it starts to look absurd.

I don't mean to bash you as a writer; again, that's not who we are or what we do. We're trying to have fun here, not hurt each other. I'm simply trying to help you out by pointing out a few issues in your writing, and there is nothing "wrong" or against the rules in your post. Now, Thomas's escape relies, solely, on one major point: The blueprints to the base.

The problem is, there is no logical way that the guards would simply give it to him. It's not at all an innocent request, and something a real guard wouldn't realistically do. Think about it this way: If you had an enemy locked up in a cell, would you hand them the blueprints? They'd then know exactly how to escape and possibly get you killed; not to mention that you'd be fired.

I won't ask you to change the post or anything, I'd just like you to keep it in mind when writing, that if things don't make sense, your stories might not be understandable.

Spoiler : :
The reason that they gave it to him was because they knew themselves that from the cell, he couldn't escape. And even with those hacking skills of his, if he were caught trying to unlock it, he'd get killed. But I will make sure to make things a bit more logical in the future.

The Docks, Somewhere in England

Gerard ended the video call with the pirate. He'd be seeing Captain Jack quite soon. He drank the last of his coffee and flew off to the factory, narrowly avoiding several pigeons but completely burning a hole into the dock he once stood on.

********************************
The Weapon Factory, Somewhere else in England.

Gerard landed at the factory. The smell of oil and machinery filled the air. He felt at home. He spotted a table covered in machine parts. Excellent. He went to work at his tinkering, sitting down at the desk. He went for a sip from his coffee cup, but there was one problem. It was empty. He wasn't going to be interrupted during this most important of times. "CLARA!" he yelled. A young woman of about 20 with brown hair in a ponytail and a lab coat ran over to the desk. Clara was Gerard's laboratory assistant, who was currently working in the factory since her boss had gone to war. Gerard looked surprised upon seeing her. "I didn't think you'd actually be here." He had gotten used to calling for her at his old lab.

"I didn't know you'd be here either, Mr. Heifer." she said, happy to see him for the first time in a while.

"IT'S COLONEL HEIFER, CLARA! COLONEL!" he shouted with excitement, getting all sorts of stares from the workers.

"R-right, sir." she said nervously, remembering why she was happy to get away from him in the first place.

"Regardless of that, would you be a dear and refill my coffee cup?" He held the coffee cup out for her before she even answered.

"Why, of course!" she grabbed the coffee cup and quickly ran to refill it, back in a matter of minutes.

Heifer smelled the coffee. "The scent is correct..." He then took a sip. "...but the taste is all wrong." He poured the coffee all over his poor laboratory assistant. "Make another cup, if you please."

She sighed, then proceeded to make another cup of coffee for him and get a labcoat that wasn't coffee stained. She wondered why she hadn't poisoned one of the many cups she had to make for him, but then thought back to why she had taken the job in the first place. She had heard of the inventor's temper, but had also heard of his genius. When the ad had been put out for a laboratory assistant, she wasn't going to ignore the chance to witness the mad tinkerer in action. She walked back over to the desk and gave him the cup.

He proceeded with his coffee process. "Scent is right..." He took a sip. "...and the taste is also right. Job well done, Clara." He gave her a thumbs-up sign and took a gulp of coffee. His lab assistant had a talent for making his special blends to his specifications. She didn't do much else in his lab, mainly because he was the only one prepared to deal with the chaos happening there. It reminded him of that one disastrous time he had to take care of his cousins. He had only put out the ad because he wasn't able to make coffee and work at the same time. "And there we go." he held a wind-up robot he had constructed from scratch in a matter of minutes.

"That's great, sir!" she clapped a little and walked off to continue her work.

Gerard turned the key on the toy robot and watched it walk across the desk. It was as if he was at his old lab.

The Same Docks, One of the Escort Ships.

The ship had landed. Katrina left the vessel and went to help with the transport. She looked around and ran off after Enzo, who was probably quite ahead. "Captain, wait for me!" She was late, as usual, and chased after the pirate.

Captain Enzo was about to step into the transport when he heard a cry; he turned around to find a young woman chasing after him; a girl, to be exact. How odd. He was used to having women chasing him around (he couldn't help his natural charm) but never ones that dressed as oddly as this. She wore a uniform, a hat not dissimilar to his own, and only one shoe. Odd indeed. Perhaps a fan? Ah, yes, he had performed a couple times in London, hadn't he? The Globe, Shakespeare's own theater, a truly legendary place; he'd had the honor of visiting there back in 2473... Or was it 2483? He didn't recall which. Even so, the girl wore a uniform for the French navy... Wait a second.

"You..." Enzo suddenly asked, speaking in French, "Are you part of the Navy? How old are you?"

Katrina put her hand to her head in a salute. "Yes, Captain, I am. Lieutenant Katrina Thompson. Age 17." she said, adjusting her hat a little bit. This was the captain she had heard about. He looked kind of like what she expected, except he didn't have the parrot. "I was on one of the escort ships."

Enzo's eyes widened. 17? Only a child? What on earth were those buffoons thinking... Yet, perhaps they knew more than he thought-- After all, he'd been rather young when he first entered the military. And he'd always believed in the potential of the next generation; even so, it was striking to see a girl young enough to be his daughter in uniform... And one shoe.

"Ah, yes," Enzo replied, responding with a salute-- She may be only a child, but she was also part of the militia. Respect was due where respect was due. He may distrust the military, but he could not place that same distrust on the soldier. "Katrina Thompson, if memory serves. You were my escort, then?"

Enzo's eye traveled to the docks, where Katrina's ship sat in the bay. "A fine vessel. I'd expect no less from the military. I'm on my way to the factory now with the weapons. You can report to headquarters that we've had a successful trip."

He tipped his hat to her and hopped inside the vehicle, nodding to the driver. It moved off slowly, the deadly cargo loaded in the back.

Seventeen, Enzo thought, stroking his beard. I've gotten old.

Kageno shouted one last curse and fired off a round from the tank. Of course, by the time it hit anything Tath Ki was long gone. Kageno put his head in his hands and breathed deeply.

"Ku..."

He still had a while left until the monoxide wore off, even after opening the hatch. And there's no way in hell he'd get any information on Kirio for a while so this was the only time he'd have alone with his thoughts.

"...."

The thing is, Kageno didn't want to be alone with his thoughts. He didn't want to let his latest failure sink in. As much as he hated to admit it, he was afraid.

You're losing your touch, Kumori. You should have easily killed that rebel. What gives?

"Kuku... Shut the hell up."

You're supposed to be the smartest man alive. Where's that being shown? All you've done is waste money, technology and time. Kirio escaped. The rebel escaped. And what do you have to show for all your "effort"? Two corpses, your side, and two lower ranking mini-rebels.

"...."

You killed Nika and Kota. For what reason? A stupid gambit to capture Kirio?

"I told you to SHUT THE **** UP! I am Kageno Kumori! Nothing I do is stupid!"

Ku ku ku... Sure. Sure. So, you killed off the only people helping you. You hijacked all the technology in China, sure, but if that's had such a big impact on them where's all the people with news of Kirio's capture, huh? No-one cares, Kageno. You stuffed up.

"Keh. Kuu..."

Kageno spat and tried to drown out the voice in his head.

Face it, Kageno. You're afraid. Afraid that you're not intelligent anymore. That you're irrelevant. That your whole purpose has been outlived. And that's not all... Motou~Sama may be right. Maybe you are insane.

"I am perfectly sane!"

Oh, really? Kukukukuku... Okay, explain this: You're talking to a voice in your head, you've murdered the only people who respect you, you've become obsessed with this Kirio who you've never met face to face, you take pleasure in death and pain, and most damning of all, the only person you respect has constantly declined your request to become a leader of his army for what reason?

"! ....Ku."

What reason, Kageno?

"......."

WHAT REASON? TELL ME YOU MENTALLY UNSTABLE PIECE OF ****!

No-one was around. No-one would ever know and yet, it stung. Kageno would never cry. It was not in his nature. He was too arrogant. But at that moment he may as well have been bawling like a child. Just because the tears weren't there didn't mean jack.

Yes. Because you are officially labelled as insane by your own military. You know. You've seen the reports, haven't you?

"Ku... Kack..."

Look at you, the great and powerful Genius! Look at you, the insane soldier who couldn't even kill an easy target! You're hated by everyone. You've failed your mission. You've failed your leader. You've failed your army. You've failed your country. Hell, I bet even, Mega~Neko-Chan (Kageno's cat) even hates you. I mean, when was the last time you fed him.

"Ku KU KU KUUU!!!"

You're never going to kill Kirio and you're never going to run an army. Because you're not intelligent, you're just insane.

And that's when Kageno smacked his head into the tank control panel hard enough to pass out.

Spoiler : :
Waiting on the others for Lawrence and on Gom for Sam still, but I can muster up something for Tath Ki and with Saburo.
Beijing, China

Tath quickly looked behind him as he sped away. Kumori's tank was nowhere in sight. He must have given up. Tath put his eyes back on the road and smirked. Escaping from a psycho with a super-tank...not bad.

For now, Tath would return to the base. He didn't know how well the whole "grabbing Kirio's attention" plan worked, though with that maniac on the loose and two allies dead, that wasn't his first priority. He had to warn the other rebels about what was going on.

Tath kept his eyes peeled as he drove. He was worried that Kumori may still be around somewhere...or that he had backup. And who knew, maybe his plan actually did work and he'd be surrounded by government lackeys sent by Kirio without backup. Between Kirio and Kumori, Tath started to feel a tad nervous...until he saw something as he passed by an alley.

The wheels of the bike screeched as Tath skidded to halt. He got up off of the bike and walked up to the alleyway. He swore he saw something in there...and he was right. He gasped as he saw what appeared to be a corpse, blood pouring out of its chest. He quickly kneeled down by the body and put his fingers on its neck...definitely no pulse. Could this have been somebody who was killed in the crossfire at the Criminal Army invasion that was never found?

Tath decided it was best to ignore it for now. It gave him a shock at first, but he couldn't risk getting caught just to look at every odd corpse...but he realized something then. The corpse was dressed in a black trenchcoat and had black hair died in a ponytail failling over its shoulder. In its hand appeared to be a knife. Tath leaned down and pulled the corpse's head up so he could see it.

As he thought, it was the corpse of the king of criminals himself, Saburo Kirio.

Eyes wide with shock, Tath got up and took a step back. How did this happen? The man who conquered a nation, dead in an alleyway? This was too strange...and he had to share it with his leader. He grabbed the body and tossed it on the back of his bike. Seating himself back on the front, he made his way back to the base, driving more slowly to keep from losing the body.

---

"Gah! Watch it, will you? That stings!"

A young woman was attending to the disgraced Premier's wounds. Hou Chao sat against the wall with his shirt removed as she applied the medicine to the collage of slashes and blood that stretched across his chest.

"Can't you do that without it hurting so damn much?" Chao complained.

"Forgive me, sir," the woman responded. "Kirio dealed much damage to you...I can't properly heal them in time without it stinging a little."

"Bah. Just hurry up with it then. I'm not letting that psychopath get out alive for this long...we will MURDER that mad man for what he did!"

The base was littered with the corpses of guards. Their guns lay at their sides as blood gushed from the wounds Saburo dealt to them. Other medically skilled rebels were tending to those that were injured but not killed. One or two people were simply staring off into space with fright as they recalled seeing the red-eyed maniac slash away at their friends in the moonlight as they stood defenseless.

This was not what Chao referred to as "what he did", however. He was referring to the humiliation. The humiliation of losing to that swine, even when he was right there in the palms of Chao's hands. He couldn't let that go unpunished. Somebody had to cook that swine.

There was a rhythmic knocking at the door of the base in the tune of their password. Chao grumbled in response. "Someone check that!" One medic got up from bandaging a guard's wounds and took a look outside through a small hole in the rusted door. She opened the door and let the person inside.

Tath Ki stepped into the base, and all eyes turned to him. Over his shoulder was what appeared to be a body. He looked around at the floor and his eyes widened. "What the hell happened?"

"Saburo Kirio, that's what happened!" Chao shook his fist as his wounds were dressed. "That mad bastard came in and slaughtered some of our finest guards and almost took me out! If I ever see that filthy pig again, I'll personally strangle the life out of him!"

Tath's brows furrowed. "Well...you won't have to. I found this in an alleyway on my way back here..." He tossed the corpse onto the floor in front of Chao. Everyone gasped a little when they realized who it was. "Dead before I found him. Looks like he was shot in the chest."

Chao pushed the medic away and hurriedly crawled up to the body, his face painted with his disbelief. There he was, Saburo Kirio, dead in front of him. His dibelief turned into a grin, then into a loud and almost insane cackle.

"AHAHAHAHAHA! THIS IS RICH! AND HERE I THOUGHT HE'D ACTUALLY MAKE IT OUT ALIVE! BUT NO...THE PSYCHOPATH IS DEAD, KILLED BY MY OWN BULLET! HA HA...AHAHAHAHA!"

As excited as they were for Kirio's defeat, Chao's reaction still unnerved the rebels. They were concerned their leader was really going mad with his own lack of power.

Hou Chao stood up, ignoring the medic's pleas to get his wounds dressed. "This is a great moment...I must announce this quickly. I need to get to the press somehow. Somebody, contact the news, now! I will personally announce the death of Saburo Kirio...the fall of mad liberator."

Tath stood with a bead of sweat on his brow. Even with Kirio seemingly out of the picture, something still felt wrong. This was not a battle won just yet. He could just feel it.

Also, two questions:

Mr. Awesome: I can't get my guy to your position right now, but do you want some kind of mini-boss fight against a Russian NPC or something? I suggest either that or heading out of Russia soon.

Ami: Do you want me to try and set something up for you with Egypt? If you have no current plans, I can set up a good mission for you.

I guess the NPC could work, but will you come up with it of will I? I will post this until then:
A prison is Russia
Thomas had subdued the warden and now had to make his way to the room with the helicopters, and a big opening for a daring escape. While he did have his weaponry back, he still had to be careful, because what he had would barely be enough to take on one of the soldiers here, let alone a whole group of them. Unfortunately, unlike the trip to the warden's offices there was no air ducts leading to the helicopter room. So he had to slip by the guards in order to have a chance to escape, besides, by now, the guards would have noticed he wasn't there.
"Well, I've sure got my work cut out for me, better get moving"
He sneaked down the hallway, then he heard some soldiers coming, he hid behind the corner.
"Come on, we have to see if any if the prisoners have escaped!"
They rushed down the hall and Bluemann slipped by. Up next was a small group of soldiers, he'd have to get creative this time. He sees a pot on another one of the corners. Maybe it would revert their attention long enough for him to slip by again. He took aim, and fired at the pot. The pot broke.
"Someone's over by the pot!"
The guards ran over to the broken pot while Thomas narrowly avoided their gaze. Now he was at a door, it was unlocked and he walked through it, when he walked through, there stood a strange figure.

Find out who in the next post!

He didn't know how long it had been when he woke up again. All he knew was that his return to reality was simply proof of his failure. He couldn't sleep anymore, couldn't rest. Knowing that he was caught like a rat, with technology in his chest that could just as easily kill him as keep him alive. He was dead now, both to the world, and to himself. Perhaps the more honorable thing to do would have been to lay down and die. But no. He couldn't accept it. Whether out of cowardice or determination; he didn't know which. Perhaps both. But all he could remember was fear.

The monitors gave him the okay to move, so he briefly unhooked himself and got back on his feet. He grasped the edge of the table, taking a second or two to adjust to the chopper's flight. According to the Doctor, they'd be dropping off Sam and Luke back at Base 44 on American soil... and as for him, he'd be taken off to a place known as "Wolf's Pack 9" to begin his work. He'd be given a new name, a new job, and his own little "cubicle" to work from. Land of the free, indeed.

Saburo decided to exercise the last bit of "freedom" he had left and go visit his fellow patients. He wanted to speak with those to again, at least one more time before he resigned to the military... He took a few steps, breathing in and out experimentally-- He could feel the tiny nanobots working inside his flesh. Disturbing. Like having little bits of the enemy inside you, ready to turn on you at any second.

He walked out, pushing open the door to the passenger area, where Luke and Sam sat. He moved slowly, taking a seat opposite to them without a word. Then, slowly, he gave a small grin at the two.

"Hey there, kids."
