Super Dangan Ronpa Zero! [Chapter 4: Normal Days]

[DLA]

Hope's Peak... The same name that came to his mind... He approached a girl with a film camera. "Do I know you? I think I may have seen you somewhere, but I'm not sure where. Irregardless of whether you know me or not, I feel I should introduce myself." A business card slid out of his sleeve and into his hand. "Marvin Burns. The Illusionist." He turned his hand and lifted it and a small plume of smoke came out, the business card nowhere to be seen. "I see we're attempting escape. That is one of my specialties." he said while pulling out a magician's wand. "Alakazam, alakazoom, make this door go boom!" he said for dramatic effect, then nudged the door with his elbow to try and get it open.

The door is locked. It does not budge.

Zodiak sighed as the student walked away without even introducing himself. The least he could have let him to was brush off the dust on his shirt.

Zodiak turned his attention to some of the other students who were finally waking up and trying the door. "I don't think that nudging the door with your elbow is gonna make it open. Unless it's made of paper or something."

[Mono]

"Looks like it won't budge... we're trapped. But why would they trap us here?" The archer was confused. "All we can do is wait and see, I suppose..."

[DeeYo]

"Pah. When did that ever work?" Kageida asked the illusionist, whose efforts were clearly unsuccessful.
"We should try kicking it. Maybe it will open."

[DLA]

Marvin walked away from the door. "Well, that didn't work. If only I had my lockpicks..." he muttered the last part under his breath. "We need to find some way out of here. Does anyone have a box? A little taller than me? With a door on it? Anyone? If so, I could find a way out of here." he said aloud. "So, who are you people anyway?" he said, sounding a little bored.

[DeeYo]

"Humor Harold. SHSL Comedian." he said with a bitter smirk on his face.
"Well, actually my name is Kageida Mattou. Slightly pleased to meet you."

[ZetaAzuel]

"Okay, let me give it a shot then." Zodiak said as he backed up slowly but stopped. "Uh... I don't want to end up having to pay for broken school property..." and then felt sweat drop from his head.

He turned his attention towards the strangely masked man. "Well I'm Zodiak, and I'm guessing you've met a few of the other people around here right?" and pray tell who might you be? Zodiak never really had a thing for people with masks, why hide your face in such a suspicious manner? I mean sunglasses have a purpose at least but masks... they're just creepy and weird.

[DLA]

"Marvin Burns." he sent a playing card flying harmlessly at the comedian. "Illusionist." The card floated back towards him, he lifted his hat, and covered the card with it. He lifted the hat once more and the card was gone. He then pulled a playing card with his face on it out of his ear, or, more truthfully, his sleeve. "What do you think? I had hundreds of these made. Take one. It's just a card with my face on it, so it's not like you could sell it for millions. Or could you?" He put the card under his hat, lifted the hat once more, and handed it to the comedian autographed.

"Unless you've got a trick that will get us out of here, please stop." Kageida muttered, his dislike of "magic" showing up on his face.

[DLA]

He saw that he had angered the guy, but he appeared more enraged at the use of that word. "Trick?" He appeared rather calm. "TRICK?" He grew frustrated. "TRICK?!" His anger was at an extreme, but he then calmed down. "For future reference, illusion, not trick. Remember that and we'll be able to get along." he said with a happy little grin on his face as if nothing had happened. "Now, is there anyone else I have not yet been introduced to?"

[Mono]

"My name is Seikakuna Nerai. Pleased to meet you, Marvinchi."

[Evo]

Ryuuma Ikegoma woke up to the sound of people talking. Such a situation was unusual since he always woke up alone at home, therefore he could conclude that he was in a different place. No, I need to analyze the situation on the chessboard before making conclusions, he thought. He opened his eyes and found himself sitting at a desk in a gymnasium, with fourteen people at his age around him. It looked like a chess tournament at a school, except that there were no chessboards lying on the desks. He tried to remember which event he was at, but he couldn't recall any kind of tournament being today. As he was lacking information to judge the situation, he said, without getting up from his chair, "It appears that I have missed the first moves in this match. Would you fill me in?"

Kageida turned to the chess player.
"Of course. The situation is: We seem to have been locked into Hope's Peak Academy. No one remembers anything else."

[DLA]

Marvin nodded. "Nice to meet you. I hope we can get along magically!" He saw someone else get up, talking about the first moves in a match. "Match? Chess? Poker? Tennis? I'm more partial to poker, personally. Marvin Burns, Illusionist. We're apparently trapped here because the door is locked or something."
