Super Dangan Ronpa Zero! [Chapter 4: Normal Days]

But I think that if someone knew where we were, they wouldn't be asleep."

Zodiak shrugged and then decided that he'd try to wake up the sleeping student. "I mean, you shouldn't sleep on the floor anyway, it's dirty, full of pathogens and dust, and it leaves a bad impression." Zodiak thought as he squatted down right next to student on the floor. "Hey buddy? Wake up, I don't know where we are but... it's probably better if you woke up right now." Zodiak shook the student a few times hoping to get a response.

[The Fury Wraith]

Kame woke up and looked half-asleep across the room. ''Ugh... Where's my coffee...?'' She noticed she had been sleeping on a desk in the middle of a large room, a gymnasium of some kind. She also noticed 14 other people in the room, though most of them were still asleep. She got up from the desk and looked around some more. ''I don't remember shooting footage for a typical sportsfilm... Can somebody hand me the script on what is going on here in this scene?!'' she shouted.

Kame held her hand against her forehead and began to think. But no matter how long she thought to herself, she just couldn't remember how exactly she came here. The last thing she remembered was her entering Hope Peak's Academy. ''Oh, I know this movie... Let me guess, the plot twist at the climax will be that I'm having amnesia or something lame like that, right?'' Not far from her were a few people that were awake, talking to eachother. Kame decided to approach them. ''So... Did you people get a copy of the script here yet? Cause I'm at a total loss of lines here...'' she said.

Akai Sabakana had to push himself up from the floor. Dusting himself off, he noticed the rest of the group.

He was fast asleep up until that moment, and he couldn't exactly remember anything right then. But Akai was nothing if not adaptable and he was used to making any situation seem great so he just took it in stride.

With a cheerful hello, lifting his left hand in a way indicating a wave without moving it. He walked up to the rest of the students.

"Hello. My name's Akai Sabakana. I was wondering if any of you knew where we are, how we got here and just what we could all possibly do to improve our experience?"

His speech was fast but clear.

Kageida, knowing that Hope's Peak was for Super High School Level students, quickly deduced that the girl approaching her would be a Super High School Level Scriptwriter... or something like that. Asking for the reason of the abundant film-related jargon would be wasting time.
"We don't even know what movie we are in," he said, trying to match his speech style to the girl's.
He turned to Sabakana and said: "That means we have no idea what this place is."

[MonofumiYamada]

"Ah, well that is a shame. Really, if we at least knew where we were or why we were here I'm sure we could do something."

Akai stroked his chin thoughtfully and then pointed upwards as if he had a great idea.

"Ahah! Eureka! I think I know where we are."

Shrugging, he smiled.

"A few days ago, I signed up for a special talent school. Hopes Peak Academy. Since this looks like an exam hall maybe we're there?"

[Mono]

"Yeah, the might be it.", she said, with a worried tone, "And, I don't think we are in a movie. Here, let me show you." Seikakuna pinches Kageida.

[DeeYo]

Kageida sighed. "I already knew that this was Hope's Peak. Why else would there be desks and other students?"
However, he couldn't let himself sound too condescending. "What I meant to ask was: "What is the function of these desks in the gym, aside from providing adequate sleeping area for the several asleep students?"

That's what he would have asked, but Seikakuna interrupted him, pinching him.
"Ow." Kageida replied with a deadpan look on his face, looking at the archer with a look of confusion.

[Whirlwind]

Zodiak shrugged and then decided that he'd try to wake up the sleeping student. Someone was shaking Tankyu. He didn't like it. Jeez, is it that awful to want to sleep? Rolling over and opening his eyes, he stared up at the token black character. "Is there some urgent danger? Is anything exciting happening? Something I should know?"
Tankyu took the moment to look and see how many other children weren't dead. Only about five so far. Maybe the rest are dead.

[Mono]

"You see?", replied Seikakuna. "In any case, I'm fairly sure we're still in Hope's Peak. But why are we all gathered here? And why are some people asleep? This is really fishy..."
Taking aimless steps, she walked around the gymnasium. She then notices the boy who was sleeping before woke up. "Hey, don't be like that. We're probably just gathered here because of our class... yeah. That must be it." She turns around. "In any case, what's your name?"

[DLA]

Marvin yawned loudly before scratching his head and awaking. "Where the heck am I? This isn't the casino... And these aren't my assistants. Hmm... This must mean I'm at a performance... I've been sleeping during a performance!?" he got up and started pacing back and forth. "Wait, that's not right... I didn't have any performances scheduled recently besides that casino and the circus... So what is this place?" He began to remember something. Hope's Peak Academy... The name stuck out at him for some reason... He looked around and shouted at no one specifically, "Does anyone know where we are?"

[DeeYo]

"Most likely Hope's Peak. In the room specifically designed to confuse the living hell out of everyone." Kageida calmly, but still loudly said to the illusionist.

[The Fury Wraith]

Kame sighed. ''Nobody has any idea, huh? Talk about a weak and poor paced intro. But I guess that's how most movies go.'' Then suddenly her eyes widend in realisation. ''Oh, of course! My camera! Where's my camera!?'' She quickly glanced at the desk she was asleep on a few moments ago. And there it was. A pretty bulky film camera mostly used by film directors. She quickly ran towards the camera and looked all over it, worried that it might have been damaged. After nearly a minute of inspecting it, she let out a sigh of relief. ''Phew, it's all right...'' She picked up the camera and looked at the other students. ''Well, I don't know about you all, but I think we should get a lights and sound check on what's going on here... and get a cup of coffee while I'm at it. Who wants to go with me and try the set out beyond that door over there?'' Kame pointed at the big door that was at the end of the room.

[Whirlwind]

Completely ignoring the two students talking to him, he stood up and walked over to the girl with the camera. "I'll go. I need something to wake me up, I guess. Just don't ask dumb questions, okay?"
Placing both hands in his pockets in case someone tried to shake his hand or something, he smiled at the girl and waited for her to respond.

[The Fury Wraith]

''Right. Let's save all the introductions for a later scene. All it is good for is some boring padding of the flick. First we gotta know the plot and the situation we are in, pronto. Let's go.''
Kame walked up to the door and tried opening it.
