enigma, this is why you need to impose a time frame for the game. It's so no one can get an unfair advantage over other players.
Dude, trust me. Nobody is going to lose against my deductions.
You also have to keep in mine that, at this point, two people get booted out at a time. And I know I'm one of those two.

No... It's only one per round (and all those who don't present a theory). Who told you it was two?

Eh, sorry, but I don't think that you should get as much flak as others, because you made more posts than half of the other contestants (even though I hope there is more investigation time in later rounds).

Yeah, but you have to keep in mind that I'm using Gumshoe, and as such, my investigation needs a LOT more time to even begin to develop.

Was wondering... Would it be fine for us to read other detectives' declarations once you start judging?

@sponge:
You don't need to RP. Frankly, majority doesn't (partly due to the sudden timezone surprise and whatnot). But even when they do, they do it in a "by the way" kind of way - they don't let it distrupt or impact their investigation - they still take actions they would take in such a situations. Even if you want to play Gumshoe straight - he isn't an idiot. He should still take the time to actually look around the scene. The deduction part... Well, that doesn't actually need to be IC at all so... :/

That's not what I meant.

Even if I'm not in character, just by using the character Gumshoe, I need more time than most other people to develop an investigation.

Yeah, pretty much.

Because my limiter says that my initial investigation of something is basic or bare.

Spoiler : round 1 solution :
Do party poppers really spark? And wouldn't the fire ignite the carbon monoxide? And is the carbon monoxide from 2 or 3 balloons really enough to kill someone?

...Well, I didn't get eliminated and the person who most likely deserved to get eliminated did, so I suppose there isn't really too much point in complaining.

Spoiler : :
Party poppers /can/ make a spark. The bigger issue is the amount of CO that would cause them to die (which is probably too little. Unless they are giant balloons. >_> And CO is indeed flammable.

Spoiler : :
The thing about the spark though is that it would stay inside the party popper, so it couldn't catch the glove on fire.
