Newest Floor - In Front of the Barricaded Door to the Comm Room

There's an eerie quiet that comes to her... request? Demand? Friendly suggestion? The way her voice trails off, it's hard to tell as her head turns slightly, leaning off a bit to the side.

Much less ambiguous is Aloysius' response, through his friendly representative - the Communications Room door.

She straightens up, seemingly flinching with the slammed door. Gasping? With the door between herself and Aloysius, subtle sound cues are certainly lost between the two of them.

With the shrug of her right shoulder, she lifts Chartreuse back up closer in both arms. She... adds no commentary to this. No screaming, no... demanding.

It is as though the act of closing a door has managed, however temporarily, to shut her away completely without so much as a physical struggle.
Spoiler : DLA :
Something seemed to get her attention within the room moments before the door was shut, the way she started to lean a little off to the side. What was it?

...

Why isn't she making a big scene about trying to get in after being shut out?

...

What an odd girl. Maybe all that can ever really follow in her wake is trouble and it isn't worth lingering upon her that much further.

For now, anyway. Here's to hoping Katsurou and Aloysius are on to something!
"...What would it matter?" She murmurs, facing away from the door and standing back near the stairs, positioned obtrusively for anyone that might consider coming or going at all. Is it deliberate...?
Spoiler : GM Notes :
Writing nuance for people who I'm not certain are willing to try to read between the lines is hard.

Katsurou was eyeing the usual arrangement of the room while he waited. In truth he wasn't so eager to return to the third floor just yet for the fact that he was still a little bit sore over his latest escapade. Also for the obvious fact of WHY he executed such a maneuver in the first place. He'd have to come up with something when he did decide to return, however.

Which, possibly, would be a while. But he had the room to himself until then, assuming no one else decided to pop in. Perhaps he'd make himself cozy here for the meantime. Katsurou never did spend time in this room now that he thought about it. He was always busy doing something else.

He remembered that one time he drank tea from the kitchen made by her. A smile crept up on his face as he recalled the events. Perhaps there was a little overreaction on his part. Sugar didn't make people as hyper as he was at the time, right? Still, that tea really was sweet. He swore someone may have actually gotten diabetes from drinking it. (Wouldn't that have put him at risk too?)

Did he ever return the tea, at that? He wasn't quite sure. For all he knew, it was still in his room, waiting to become the cause of a doctor's prescription.
Spoiler : GM Notes :
Well, might as well be more specific here.

Katsurou checks the following:

Closet.
Coffee table.
Compartment.
Hammock.
Port hole, can Katsurou see anything out of it, considering what he saw the previous night?

aaaand...

The TV, is it too heavy to carry?

Yes Enigma, IS THE TV TOO HEAVY?

Hazuki was still shocked by her previous realization, but quickly shook it off once she heard Tsuyotoko speaking. ... Or, well, she tried to. It was pretty clear that she was still in deep shock, since this was clearly very serious. Though now that she gave the situation some thought... Tsuyotoko was asking for a drink. And from the way he worded it, he wanted to get drunk. Or maybe Hazuki was just looking into his word choice too much... It kind of bothered her.

Ultimately, she decided to heed Tsuyotoko's request. There were a few reasons for this. First of all, she was still pretty sure that the drinks were non-alcoholic. Second of all, there was an awkward atmosphere between the two of them, and Hazuki didn't particularly feel like annoying Tsuyotoko over something relatively trivial. Lastly, if by some chance it actually WAS alcoholic, Hazuki would be in the position to escort Tsuyotoko so that he would be fine, and also maybe Hazuki could get rid of the alcohol. She tried to imagine the scene in her mind... It was completely ridiculous. But she'd take embarrassment over the possibility of everyone getting so drunk that they'd start killing each other.

Let's see... My knowledge of alcohol is pretty shitty, so I guess I'll just pick whatever...? No, wait, maybe they have labels on them and that can help me...

Hazuki took a wine glass, and then checked the wine bottles for labels showing how much alcohol they have. If they have labels, she chooses the one with the least amount of alcohol. Otherwise, she chooses randomly. Either way, Hazuki then pours the wine into the glass, and then carefully hands it over to Tsuyotoko.

"Just so you know, I know pretty much nothing about wine. So I don't know what any of this tastes like."

Spoiler : Hazuki :
They have labels, but they don't have the alcohol content info. You pour a glass of Chateu Monokuma 20XX.
Spoiler : Alnar :
In the closet you find a sailor uniform, a copy of Ryuunosuke's clothes and a Hopes Peak uniform.
On the coffee table is a book on proper watergun maintenance.
The compartment contains a flashlight, batteries, extra pillows and blankets, an empty duffelbag and an alarm clock.
The hammock is a standard hammock.
The TV is... slightly heavy, but with DETERMINATION you can lift it.

Through the porthole, with effort, you can see what you saw the previous night. Something faint in the distance.

Osuji felt around for the glass, eventually locating it and grasping it, trying to distinguish what kind it was. It felt like... a wine glass? Blegh. Osuji detested wine glasses. Especially when he could see them. So pretentious. So artsy. So... unnecessarily elaborate. It's a DRINK HOLDER! It shouldn't be overdesigned or overcomplicated! It's only purpose is to hold fluid so that it may be consumed! A simple glass does the same job just fine!

Eugh... perhaps that was an upside to being blind. No more wine glasses. No more having to look at those ridiculous things. But he was... no. He wasn't. It was a beer can. Yes. This lovely, unfortunately likely non alcoholic beverage that Hazuki had prepared for him was served in a beer can. This matter was not open for debate. Just because it was shaped like a wine glass, and was held like a wine glass, that didn't mean it had to BE a wine glass. Which it wasn't. It was a beer can!

Osuji tightly gripped the beer can in his hand and downed the liquid inside.... the liquid that was... much too strong...!!!!

Osuji made quite a scene, coughing and hacking, throwing his can against the wall as he spat the foul tasting... whatever it was, out of his mouth.

...Weird. Most beer cans don't shatter like that. The bear's craftsmanship sure is flimsy.

Anyway.

Osuji wiped his mouth on his sleeve, not having much else to cleanse himself, and attempted to glare at the direction he assumed Hazuki was standing in.

"You wanna know what it tastes like? It tastes like life on this goddamn boat. Can we go now?" Osuji scoffed, his attitude clearly made only worse by the drink. No wonder alcoholics are so miserable. If that stuff was even alcoholic.

...Nah. Surely real alcohol would be more... effective.
Spoiler : GM :
Didn't want to hold up the show anymore. Let's just say whatever was in that bottle, Osuji hated it. Kay?

Monobear Shop

Seemed to be... Well, quite a bit of just random stuff in here. But.... Well, it wasn't like she really wanted to go searching through all of it to find anything.

Masami left the shop and entered the casino.

Casino

Ryuunosuke was in full concentration as he was placing the final card of his construction.
He'd used up the set now. Sure, he could get another one - the casino had plenty of it, but it looked like he was satisfied for now.
Compared to the previous house of cards, this one aimed for just being as tall as possible. It still looked fairly professional. Well, it was his second try. He'd done it. He'd proven to the world that he can stand back up no matter what.

It took a few more moments before he noticed someone had entered the room and momentarily stopped from looking at his construction with pride.
He immediately rose his hand, gesturing the new guest to stop.

"Watch out, tennis girl. Do you see this? Do.You.See.This? You're free to look - I know it's pretty damn impressive."

Instead of trying to stop her, the focus in his mind seemed to shift to wanting to present his achievement, and he gestured towards it - albeit quite carefully so as to not cause any wind.

"Well? Awesome, no?" he asked with a broad smile.

A rather regal looking casino, fancy green carpeting, a chandelier, etc. A neon sign with Monokuma on it hangs above the door, giving the place the name "Kaptain Kuma's Kasino"!. The room has gambling machines and tables of a rich enough variety to satisfy any gambling addict.

Katsurou takes the alarm clock from the compartment. Strange, he never noticed this here before. If he had remembered, he could have actually checked the time here beforehand. Having a sense of time on this ship, aside from the daily morning and night time announcements, would be good to have. Though an alarm clock would be hard to bring around. Unfortunately, his pocketwatch was still out of commission.

Actually, hadn't he seen someone show a good amount of dexterity around machinery?

Yes, yes he did. Though he wondered if they'd fulfill such a request for him. It wouldn't hurt to ask, at the very least. Maybe he would, at a better time than this.

Speaking of, shouldn't he be heading back up to report to Aloysius? He'd almost forgotten about that. However, he'd need to do something about that little obstacle upstairs... How should he go about sneaking past her?

...

An idea formed in his head. One most definitely, without a single shred of doubt, so ingenious that he wished he'd thought of it before.

Katsurou leaves, taking a box from his room.

After some undefined amount of time spent in preparation, Katsurou hides in the box.

It was a bit of a tight fit, but he managed to hide himself inside of it.

This was his calling.

Katsurou begins to scuttle up the stairs, ever so slowly...

*scruffle scruffle*

Baby steps.

*scuffle*

Maintain a rhythm.

*scuffle scruffle*

Wow, this was a lot more exhausting than he thought, was he even more than two steps up from the bottom?

Second Floor - Staircase

*scuffle*

*panting*

*scuffle*

This was not something he'd ever do again.

*scruffle scruffle*

After an undefined amount of time, perhaps close to an eternity...

Third Floor - Hallway

Smells like cardboard.

A box was suddenly at the top of the staircase, having following the sounds of cardboard scratching and shuffling across the floor. It was not stealthy at all, and the box was obviously moving slowly towards the communications room.

*scruffle scruffle*

Box.
Spoiler : GM Notes :
Earlier, before leaving:

Katsurou looks at the alarm clock, with a much different idea forming in his head (aside from a way to sneak past Teruko). Axe or no, he still wanted to get payback on the Ryuunosukes. There were so many ways he could think of that the very thought of revenge put a smile on his face. He plays around with the settings of the alarm clock, his hand pressing buttons until he knew what each one did.

He sets the alarm for a few minutes ahead of the time of the Night Time Announcement.

He hides the alarm clock underneath the hammock in such away that it is no easily noticed unless one were to look carefully under the hammock.

"Part one, loud noise to accompany the visual distraction. The key to confusion is to overwhelm one's senses with unfamiliarity." he said to himself as he temporarily left the room to return to his own.

From his room, Katsurou takes the recording he set-up earlier and stops it. He also retrieves a single smoke pellet from the compartment.

Back in Ryuunosuke's room, he places the smoke pellet inside the pillow on the hammock, positioned so that if one were to lie down, the smoke pellet would break.

"Smoke, a pain to both the eyes and the nose." he say as he gently places the pillow back on the hammock.

He almost felt sadistic for doing this.

Ah well, all in good fun, right?

Katsurou listens to the tape before he leaves to take a box from his room.

The New Floor - Hallway
Spoiler : Alnar :
I don't know if the box has eyeholes or not... so, just for you, I have written two posts in one! One version is sighted. The other is not.

Pick the relevant one!
Spoiler : If Sight-Capable Box :
There she is... she's right near the top of the steps.

At least, what's identifiably her clothing, so it is likely her. Strangely enough, although much of her dress is very close to traditional fare for a Japanese stagehand - some odd stand-out blood-colored accessories aside - she's wearing western shoes. Leather ones, instead of sandals or anything of that nature.

Huh. It probably doesn't mean anything important, but, she does have that bow tie thing going too. Maybe it's kind of familiar to some popular children's character from somewhere else around the globe?

...

Well, it's easy to go at length and potentially wander about any of that is because it doesn't seem like she's moving in wake of this latest bit of overt stealthy movement. She can't NOT be noticing, can she?

As she's standing practically by the stairs, it's something of a small wonder she's just not bumped into. From the vantage point available, one can't see much of her or what she's really doing beyond standing there.

Wordlessly, it appears Katsurou can make a clean shot to the Communications Room thanks to the power of his box!

Assuming... someone didn't barricade the door from the inside...

(They did. Oops, spoilers. Ha ha.)
Spoiler : If Blind Box :
You have a miniscule chance of getting the figurine you want.

...

Sorry. Right, then.

...

There is no obstruction up unitl the door, as it appears someone may have barricaded the door from the inside.

It might even be unsettling. Is she even still there? There's no sound of footsteps, or anything of that ilk. Nobody is saying anything to the obvious box movements.

...Mission success...?
Spoiler : GM Notes :
I think this sort of thing warrants inner thoughts, admittedly, as otherwise we have no record of how Teruko appears to be reacting to this situation from her perspective.

Here we go, an easter egg to make this THREE posts in one.

"Ah... who's that--

What?

...

Who's even--

Why ask? It has nothing to do with me...

...

I'll just watch you crawl in ignorance.

Whoever you are...

Puhuhu... you don't know anything, do you?

...

If I said, what would you do?

No matter what I say or do, you all just...

...

At least... maybe, it will end soon.

I'm... so tired of this, holding it all in..."

Casino

When Masami entered the casino, she certainly did not expect to see one of the Ryuunosuke twins making a house of cards.

On one hand, it certainly was a thing that she could see him doing. On the other hand... It really was quite odd to see him playing these types of games with cards.

"That's... Quite the nice card tower you made there, Ryuunosuke-kun. Though... I must ask... Why did you make it?"

She took a quick glance around the room.

"And, well... Is there anything interesting in here?"

In Front of the Communications Room's Barricaded Door

Katsurou should have punched some eye holes into this box. He couldn't quite get the right angle to sneak a peak from under the box, so he was virtually blind all the way through. It was a miracle he even made it to the door like this. Though the fact no one stopped him gave him confidence in his stealth skills. No one would ever question a random box in the middle of the hallway! That or Teruko's hair got in the way of her actually seeing the box, which was also good.

*thud*

Is the door locked? thought Katsurou, banging against what felt like a door.

Fearing being found out by Teruko, Katsurou did the most logical thing to do in this situation: continue hitting against the door.

Inside the Communications Room

*THUD* *THUD* *THUD*

What was that noise?

*THUD*

It sounds like something's banging against the door, rather forcefully too.

*THUD* *THUD*

It doesn't look like it has any intention of stopping, whatever the hell it is that is banging against the door.

Ryuunosuke had for some reason expected more of a reaction. When confronted with the question of why, he had to put a finger to his chin and think.

"Tch, why not? Look around this floor, it's just a few more useless rooms and we're still in the same situation. Might as well use some distraction, no? That's all you'll find in this place. Typical casino."

He took another look around the tables, as if searching for something.

"Well? Interested in a round of something? I'm sure you're rather bored here as well."

Hazuki had to admit that the awkwardness of the situation only seemed to be increasing. It wasn't even the funny kind of awkward, it was just an uncomfortable atmosphere between her and Tsuyotoko. If she wasn't acting as Tsuyotoko's guide, she would have even considered asking him if he wanted to stay away from her for a short while or something. But maybe that would do more harm than good... Oh well, it wasn't an option here anyway. Hopefully things would turn out okay... Hazuki had to assume that the fact that he was even willing to trust Hazuki as his escort was a sign that Hazuki hadn't completely messed everything up. So hey, it could be worse...? Cold comfort, of course.

"Okay, so you think that wine is shit. Got it. ... Maybe we should go to the Eating Quarters instead. There are more options about what we can eat and drink there anyway..." Hazuki said. If she was being completely honest, she had more or less decided that it was obvious that Tsuyotoko didn't like the idea of exploring the new floor where they were likely to run into someone he'd rather not talk to. The Eating Quarter's closeness to the Kitchen where they could get something to eat and drink was just a secondary reason, really.

Maybe instead of whining about it, I should actually try to do something here... I know Tsuyotoko doesn't want to talk to anyone, but maybe Katsurou could help...? Maybe it'll just make things worse, but trying something is definitely better than doing nothing and waiting for things to get worse slowly. ... Okay, yeah. I'll try to find Katsurou later...

Hazuki heads for the Eating Quarters, guiding Tsuyotoko with her.

Huh. Nothing interesting here too, eh? What was Monobear doing... Just... Opening floors for his own amusement? If there was nothing there... What was the point of it all in the first place?

Masami sighed. Oh well. Wasn't like she could do anything about that...

"I... See. As for a game of cards... Why not? It's not like we've got anything better to do anyways..."

She rested her hands on the table that Ryuunosuke was at.

"So... What game should we play?"
