"It was supposed to be around 4:30. Which... I guess gives any potential killers something of a timeframe..." Osuji answered simply. He didn't really have much more to say

Due to a miscommunication in the planning phase, a mistake was made about a certain piece of evidence.

SO YES, IT WAS A MASSIVE KITCHEN KNIFE THAT WAS MISSING AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN MISSING. END OF STORY.

"Did anybody else feel something? Sort of like a change in the fabric of continuity? Anyways, I believe we were talking about that massive kitchen knife which is missing, right? I hope we're not changing topics, because that would make me beary sad. And executions cheer me up~"

"Considering the wound, that missing large kitchen knife could very likely have been the weapon," Shin'ichi said. "Besides, the weapon itself isn't important. It doesn't seem to be the regular kitchen knife or the sword. However, we had 14 of us searching the ship--I doubt the murderer would really work to give themselves up--and yet nobody seems to have found a trace of another weapon. Thus, I think it's safe to conclude that the murderer has put some effort into hiding the murder weapon--whatever that murder weapon may be. Who knows? That might be important later on....

"Anyway, without an autopsy or more physical weapons to examine, I don't think we can make much more progress on this topic. Why don't we discuss when the murder happened... Osuji, did you actually arrive at 4:30?"

Osuji just stared at the bear before trying to come up with the words to reply.

"...Right. The massive kitchen knife explains everything, doesn't it? It's probably the murder weapon. It'd have to be, right? It all makes sense if you ask me!" Osuji shouted out loud, hoping someone would agree with him so they could end this farce to make some actual progress on the mystery.

"But yes. Yes I did arrive somewhere around 4:30. Our strategic meeting with Yakuro was vital to administering justice to all those with evil aboard this ship! I wouldn't have arrived much later than that for the world!" Osuji proudly stuck his chest out, almost forgetting that meeting he took such pride in never actually happened.

Teruko slowly nods her head in the back, as though in some level of agreement. (Or was she about to fall asleep?)

Chartreuse relents, as Teruko lowers her right arm to allow the puppet to sit on the stand proper, hands pressed against it for stability.

"Justice... to all those with evil?" Teruko shrinks a little where she stands as she asks this aloud - probably repeating the words to herself more than asking for any clarification. A smile seems to form from the corner of her mouth.

She sounds kind of amused.

"By 'our strategic meeting with Yakuro,' then, you mean," she trails off, as though expecting the proper blanks to be filled by someone else.

Osuji stared back at Teruko oddly, expecting her to say more, but she never did.


"I mean... exactly what I said. I'm... puzzled as to what you don't understand." He scratched his head.

"I ask... for the clarification of those who weren't present to see the presentation," Teruko clarifies, in a very rare, precious moment where she seems to bother to clarify much of anything to begin with in-between whatever nonsense or cryptic commentary happens to fall out of that mouth of hers - although her tone of voice does seem a little tense.

"You went with Nakajima-san, which... I'm sure bears repeating just the once so we are all on the same page... yes?" She asks, with the tilt of her head.

"Yeah, what about it...?" Osuji obediently answered the question, confused as to where this line of questioning was supposed to be headed, as he usually seemed to be.


...He began to wonder if Teruko was actually the Detective, and Naota was actually disguised as Teruko. Her questioning seemed to emit the exact same reaction out of him as Naota's interrogations did.

What about it? Osuji's question seems to linger unanswered for a while. Teruko casts a glance to either side, her facial expression - what of it can be seen, anyway - decidedly neutral. Confused? Does she just not know what to ask? She looks downward towards the floor with what sounds like a sigh... but somehow manages to be unclear as such even when the ambient volume of the courtroom is at a current all-time quiet.

The actor could well just be giving the person addressing them far too much credi--

"Just freakin' get on with what happened!!" Chartreuse suddenly yells out, throwing both hands up and leaning forward as the puppeteer steadies herself. "Gawd! Both of you went to visit Yakuro 'cause a meeting at 4:30! You arrived! Ten minutes before he passed away..."

Chartreuse's voice trails off a little. There's a slight shifting of movement in Teruko's right arm and a bit of shifting of her weight, before that horrible voice picks up.

"Then what?! You both didn't just stand around until we heard about a body, right?!" Chartreuse huffs, as if for emphasis.

"If... if it's been that difficult for you, that this would be too much to ask you go into detail... or saddening to have to repeat what you saw," the puppeteer speaks, "then... may I demonstrate what we were shown to help you?"

"Well, there's a big screen in here," Shin'ichi pointed out, tilting his head slightly to the side and crossing his arms. "Couldn't Monokuma just show us the security footage on that...?"

After a brief disturbance in the space-time continuum, Akira snapped back into focus as Wada asked more about the strategy meeting. She decided to recount it herself.

"Mutsuho-kun asked Osuji-kun and I to come to his room discuss the ever-growing weapon problem we seem to keep having," she began. "We arrived promptly on time, but when we entered the room Mutsuho said he was showering. However, we later concluded that the shower hadn't been used recently. Either way, we left the room to give him some privacy. I didn't notice anything suspicious when I was in the room...except for something glittering on the floor. I can't recall what it was.

"After waiting outside for a while I entered the room to see what was taking Mutsuho so long and..." she momentarily winced as she recalled the events. No matter how many times she did it would never sit well with her. "...well, there was the body. After that, I picked up the knife, screamed, and was escorted from the scene by an alarmed Osuji after he searched the room and concluded nobody else was in there but the two of us."

After finishing her explanation, she noted something about what Wada and "Shin'ichi" said. "Wait...what you were shown? Security footage? There was security footage?"
