Spoiler : :
But how did she expect a/the hero to do that? The only reason Link was able to get to the Dark World at all was with Ravio's help, which Hilda couldn't have known about... Maybe she had a general conception "some guy will do it," but the plan doesn't seem very thought-out... ~_~

Also yes, I forgot about that. I also really liked how you meet all the sages at the beginning, they gradually disappear, and then you find out what happened to them.

In terms of them being flatter, idk. It's not like the characters are a huge part of Zelda anyway, but they just felt... meh. It might just be because this is the first Zelda in forever where we don't have a sidekick.

One last thing I forget: How exactly does the backstory of the Dark World in ALBW fit in with the backstory of the Dark World in ALttP? They seem pretty different...

I'm a Minecraft addict and used to have a nice gaming experience with Zelda. If there are any Minecraft fans here, some of you guys probably don't know about Zelda Adventure for Minecraft - that's a mod for Minecraft that gives it Zelda features and it was quite fancy to play so check it out.

I made this to illustrate one large reason why I love Link Between Worlds but still dislike Link to the Past:

I enjoyed Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks, and I've never played ALTTP. Would you recommend ALBW to me?

This is going to sound weird but frankly LBW is even BETTER if you never played LttP, just because you'll be experiencing everything it references for the first time.

(It's still an excellent game if you have played LttP, of course.)

WW HD was one thing, but I find this one really stupid since you can already play Twilight Princess on the Wii U. I wish they'd spend less resources on remaking old Zelda games, and more on reducing the development cycle of the new ones.

I'm more hype for the Midna/Wolf Link amiibo than anything

I'm very much of the same mindset as BP.

Though, yeah, that Wolf Link and Midna amiibo looks pretty nice.

Same as BP and Kwando. I'd rather just get Zelda U out, because that looks beautiful as hell so far imo.

Am I the only one who thinks Zelda U has too much bloom going on?

so
anyone played Breath of the Wild yet?
I haven't, cause it's £60 and I don't have that kind of money, so I've instead decided to wait and hope the price drops in the near future, and in the meantime play as many other Zelda games as I can (the only Zelda game I've actually beaten so far is Ocarina of Time)
